its been a looooong time since i tamed something.
i noticed recently that whenI tame something the name "a baby ....xxxxx" seems to stick even when the pet is grown.
hadnt the name used to change and lose its "baby" status after a certain level?? i'm pretty sure it had
is this a known bug or is it just me?

As far as I'm aware it has always been this way, unless you rename your pets through training them with the name when teaching them commands.

the only time you'll see a pet with the species name and no (baby) tag is if it's a BioE clone.
otherwise, the (baby) tag has always stuck to pets that weren't named.
