I am making one of my toons a Commando and I am considering Taking up CH along with it. The template would be Brawler 4000/Master Marksman/Master Commando/Scout 4040/CH xxxx....In this template, what would be the best CH skills to get? I only do PvE really and not looking to be the most uber person out there. I just want to be able to hunt solo or grouped and be effective.

I was at one time a Master CH/Commando 0/0/4/0........ it depends on what you want you said Solo missions and such. You need to look at the trees and find a good across the board with taming and lvls. you could got with a 0/4/2/2 give you max lvl pet of 32 with max allowed pets of 14. Just a outline. I know the CH about now know more then I did 6 months ago.

Well, if i were you i'd take CH 0404, since you have max number of pets out and stored with that amount of skillpoints. You could also take 0440 if you don't mind not to be able to have more than one pet out at a time (your max lvl will be 36 anyways). This way you will also have the two specials enrage and embolden pets.

I had the first mentioned template for quite some time with two kitties (strong poison and lvls 33, 36) and those were some neat lil helpers.

If your doing the village FS thing I suggest goin 4/0/4/0 commando and MCH Because this combo is the absolute best template for grinding combat XP for one reason. BE's can make pets with resists up to 100% for any damage type other than kinetic and energy with cap at 60%. A pet with 100% cold resist would be a great way to harvest combat XP with cryoban grenades just simply send the pet to attack the lair and throw grenades from a safe distance.

I'm not doing the force sensitive stuff (on either of my toons). I'm just looking for a good combination of skills so I can have a character that is fun to play solo, and will be able to take higher mobs in a group.
