Hi all

What do you think is more inportant : Fixing bugs first or adding more new content...

My opinion is to fix the bugs first as it seems a bit silly bringing in new content, even if it is bug free, which i doubt it,

and if its not its just adding more bugs to the list we all ready have, i just feel its inportant to be able to play the game

what we have at the moment bug free first

Pleasenote this is NOT for complaining to the dev's, its just your opinion what you feel is more inportant thats all

so please keep it friendly

From a player stand point of cours fix the dam bugs

but it will never happen.

More content= more players more reasons for people to renew their accounts and get people into the game.

Less content= people leaving

bottom line is money here.

I say add new content. I like new content. I'm not having issues with bugs.

Nutty,

Most CH's in the past have answered "fix the bugs". I personally will not buy JTL until certain bugs are fixed, such as autostore bug and certain states causing my pets to run like frightened chickens (Dizzy for example). If Dizzy is going to work as a fear lick state and cause my pets to run away it should have the same effect on Player Characters in combat.

Monkeys will fly out my nether regions before I put 200 bucks into another 4 sets of CD's for my accounts. I had enough faith to buy the original 4 accounts and that is slowly dwindling to nil faith in SOE altogether. I have begun to think I will extend this personal boycott into the electronics division of Sony as well.

What Talon said.

It's easier to lose more people from being bored, than from annoyance bugs.

Totally with Pluto ... the understaffing of the engineering/coding team running this project has resulted in quality-control problems that make it highly unlikely I'll ever again buy something with the SOE label on it ... you vote with your dollars and I don't deliberately vote for shoddy quality.

If you can't make it right, don't make it ... new buggy content is just ridiculous. I wouldn't consider buying the SE in this game unless I saw a major change to quality control methodology from these guys.

Im with Pluto on this one.

Fix many of the bugs that plauge SWG, then when you have those under controll you can begin adding more stuff. The small 'free' expantions like the corvette i think is ok. But soon they will ask us to pay 20 to 30$ of JTLS expantion, and still lots of bugs will stay in the game.

With eatch expantion i cant see that it would get easyer for them to fix stuff that have been in the game for a long time (more code to go over, old programmers leave..). So they should be hunted down ASAP.

Bugs.

As a programmer I cannot stand to see bugs. Especially ones that have existed for a year, only to see them ignored to put in content that adds more bugs.

I also refuse to buy the expansion until the ground game is working properly. Honestly, they don't have much time to keep me here with that either unless I start seeing some real improvement. The Combat Balance is not only supposed to address balance but a lot of bugs. We'll see and then I will decide.

I'm gonna have to say gimme more content. I'm painfully bored at this point and not totally sure I can make it to the SE. In the last 3 days I've logged in twice and realized I had nothing to do and just logged out. Tonight I'm gonna start the process of hibernation for my characters.

Let me add some background to my statement. My experience with SOE has lasted since EQ, Kunark, Velious, Luclin and PoP. The priority was always the expansion and little heed was paid to known issues or class wants. The end game became frustrating and difficult unless you were in an Uber Guild that was allied with an Uber Guild.

As a CH, I am seeing the same thing happening here. We were despised by all players and nerfed. Now SOE claims they do not need to pay any attention to us because we were reworked and not due up anytime soon. TH's own lack of clarification to maybe it will be addressed in Correspondent Issues in Mini Publish 10.1 or what ever number assures that SOE will continue to push on at gaining my money with little or no concern that I may or may not be unhappy.

Even if the numbers are remotely near the 300K people they once bragged, I will have gained little by boycotting JTL with my 4 accounts. The loss for SOE will only be a drop of spit in the ocean. I have lost faith in SOE and have often targetted the Devs for this, most likely they have little control over marketting, but I still make my stand and draw my line here.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice.... I will not repeat my mistakes of buying expansion after expansion while each day regretting that I am logging into a game.

Man i also have been waiting for new bug fixes not new bugged content, like who gives a dam that you can paint a droid

or speeder when most of the professions specials are broken. I understand that things take time but jesus took a year for

armour bug to be fixed...come on ...loss of faith . I miss the way ch used to be ,now there isnt near the babies that used to be .

Lies...all false promises, with lures of keeping them playing "oh ill see how next patch is" bah ,so much potential wasted ,cause

of poor customer support and dev decisions. Sadly just the loot as rare as it is,good friends and pvp is all that keeps me logging

in now.
