Thread: Hey got a strange pet

i just got an ancient flyer. but in the data pad i dont see the pet i just see a red cube with question marks in it.

can some on tell me what this mean's. and why i dont see the pet.

yup! thats a flier



I got one a while back and same thing happened to me. That little cube is a no drawn model. If the game doesn't draw the correct model or if there is a problem finding one, the game puts the cube there in its place just so there is at least some sorta icon or figure.

For some reason, the devs only know. The Ancient Reptilian Flyer (and the rest of the Flyers) do not have animal Icons that display in your data pad, the Cube is normal it has always been that way. Kinda funny to see this post. I'm an MCH and haven't tamed a Flyer in a long time, thought they would have fixed that by now. LOL the cube is a default image if there is no Icon image created for a creature. Don't know if there are any besides the Flyers, haven't seen that with any of the others and I've tamed about everything there is.

Baz Nitch give you a box icon, its a control box rather then a black box with a question mark.

I wish the flier would be the ?mark box when called. I'd have 3 of 'em follow me around.

I saw that box underneath a waterfall on Naboo once. It was about 2 months after release. I haven't heard about the datapad box in quite awhile. I also figured they had fixed it. Oh well,

The boxes under the waterfallof Deeja Peak (sp?) are still there. Found them the other week. Was quite a surprise to me. Made for a nice screen shot though.

Yeah I tamed a flier and got the box too but there was something else that was weird about it... It was a mature flier... that was a baby!? How could it be mature but still be a baby.... I don't really want a answer i just found it funny.
