Thread: Capper Spineflap Queen tamed!!!

Last night as I am running around the Krayt Graveyard on Tatooine (friggin Krayts killed the Wild Dune Boar spawn! argggg) I get a /tell from Archiee to head to Naboo QUICK!
He was sitting on a spawn of a CL12 Capper Spineflap Queen!! He had no room in datapad (saving a spot for that elusive Graul Marauder I bet lol) and wanted me to come tame it. So I head that way, meet up with Archiie and tame the lil lady.
As I stated she's only CL12 but came with fleet footed L1 and has a ranged area attack as her basic attack. Had her attack one critter and shee aggroed several others that were nearby also. Good thing we kept her around only other cl 12's or so. LOL
Anyway, I now have a Capper Spineflap Queen to keep in my pad as a kind of showoff pet (i.e. /strut) and who knows maybe she'll work out well to use with a higher level pet in a twosome!!

I had one of those and deleted it... oops? Was this a rare pet. Mine didnt have anything.

They used to be rare prior to Pub 21 but who knows now.
I tamed a dozen or so Thune Grassland Guardians to get 2 that had diff abilities (L2 Beastly Constitution and L2 Vigorous Growth) and those things were super rare before Pub 21!

The Queen can't be that rare. I tamed two from the second spineflap wild lair I ever tamed from. Lucky for me both had specials for me to learn

It depends on the server.. Each server has the same rares.. but depending on the population and such of that server depends on just HOW rare the creature is.. I can probably go to corellia and find 3 great plains stalker spawns within a couple hours (I used to) Because corellia on our server pushed the spawns to a small location and the constant killing of things made them spawn more often... The spineflap queen is actually a rare pet.. It isnt hard to find, but like a gaping spider queen it doesnt spawn babies much at all.. Since they became tamable again when the CU hit I have been looking for one for myself... I happen to find one last night but have no room for now, so I had Grambacca come give her a home. It is a great low level pet.. Any low level pet with ranged attack is good, plus its pretty uncommon... (A low level pet with ranged works great as a teamate cause it doesnt have to tank yet it still puts on damage) Also creatures with area attack can save your butt in when a mob comes after you..
