Hello all

A little on my background

I'm Sebarackk and I'm a master CH on the Lowca Server (Used a respect to get most of the way to Master but worked at the last few boxes) I was a master Artisan/architect

I'm 29 and live in the UK

I played a LOT before the CU but had to give up for a long time and came back about 2 months ago and I'm enjoying CH enormously (And the changes in Publish 21 have just made it even better IMHO)

Now for my noobish question...

How do you transfer a tamed pet from your datapad to a vendor? (So I can sell it)

I'm beginning to get the impression that I can't and only BE pets can be sold in this way!

Is this the case?

I've tried to transfer it to my inventory and I get a error meassage

Is there a way to do this?

And on another note...

Well done on this chat board (I have been lurking for a while and learnt a lot about CH)

I like many had the wrong end of the stick with the new pet skills (and just wondered why my pet never developed any) now I know I have to be trained in them first, I can't wait to find a pet with one!

I'll answer here and let the other threads sink into oblivion. Don't worry about the multiple posting -- it's happened to all of us who ever have ever posted at some point.

Anyway, your answer -- you can't sell pets once they are in datapad form. Sure would be nice but I get the impression that the database isn't set up for this. It's something we've all dreamt about for a while but we've seen no sign of it ever happening.

Once a pet is onthe datapad, the only way to transfer it is by face to face trade. You cannot turn a BE pet back into a deed. Naturally tamed pets never can be put on a vendor or the bazaar.

The pets you see on vendors or the bazaar are BE pets, they're in deed form, and in that form they're basically furniture, they can't be used as mounts or to fight with. Once the pet is tamed, and exists "in the world" as a functioning pet, there are only two ways to move it from player to player, via the trade window or via the transfer command, and there are a number of prerequisites that have to be met before the transaction completes, like space on the recieving player's datapad and the receiving player being able to call the creature once it's on the datapad.

Unfortunately tamed pets, even BE ones, cannot be sold on a vendor. You can only transfer with a direct trade to another player. The pet must still be in deed form to be sold through a vendor.
