Thread: Additional Pet +0?

Hi all


Sorry if i've missed something but only a recent convert to the joy of creature handling, but is the 'additional pet +1' at novice and subsequent skill boxes a bug?


Surely as a novice CH with this skill yould be able to summon 1 extra pet? I've tried and can only summon one, although I have managed to summon ALL my pets in my local cantina but then I cant train them and they get no xp.


Aside from that, and the occasional situation where my pet gets no xp but if I store and recall it's updated, it all seems to be going quite smoothly for me so cya out there

you wont be able to summon more then one pet until management 3 then you can call two and then 3 at master BUUUTTT you can now call either a faction pet or droid out at same time as your pet when non ch can only call one thing at a time

There are someexceptions to this... although I'm not sure if they are intended or not.


I'm only 1-2-0-1 in CH right now, and I'm a master doc as well.


I've found that I can now call out my non-combat R3 droid with its +110 med capability while I have one of my CH pets out. This makes me a more effective healer.


I was also able to tame some lvl 1 and lvl 2 creatures while my BE CL10 falumpaset mount was out.


Funny thing is that I was not able to tame another lvl 1 creature while I had onlyanother recently tamed lvl 1 pet out... so it is not a level issue.


It seems like wild tames are treated differently than some droids and BE non-CH pets are when it comes to this rule.

also to add a note:


When you call out more than one pet at a time, realize that the TOTAL CL you can have out at once can never go over your max calling CL (CL70 at master) ... so for example:


I'm a MCH. My cap is CL70. I could have out one CL70 creature, or two CL35 creatures, or any combination of two or three creatures whose CLs added up together equal CL70 or less. So I couldn't have out a CL40 and a CL 45 at the same time, because together that'd be CL85, and I can't go over CL70... BUT I could have out a CL10, a CL20, and a CL40 at the same time because together their total CL is 70 or less.
