WORKS? I know that people have stated that they "felt" that the BE'd +25 wild and vicious taming clothing were working, however I just got done with some tests. I am currently 1-1-0-3 CH and decided to special order some pants and finally got a chance to go out today. As you know, at my level I have zero taming vicious creatures mod with the clothing off. So to test, I went up to a diseased vrelt and a female dire cat. Without clothing I couldn't tame, with +25 vicious I could tame. I am sold unless someone knows something I don't? The reason I phrase that as a question is the babies were not aggressive (red name) to me, but yet until I put on the clothing I could not tame and the adults were aggressive (red). I assume this is typical with aggressive babies or when I hit higher level do the babies become red also?

Babies won't be red, never have been. The thing with Vicious Creature bonus is that when the baby grows up, it *will* be aggressive. Meaning that it will attack anything in sight, and probably won't listen to you very well. The Taming Vicious Creatures bonus negates this.

TYVM for the reply. I had a feeling I was good to go with the pants on, but my next question would be: Once the pet is full grown, if I still don't have the vicious taming +10 mod from Creature Taming 2 block and take off my +25 taming pants, will the pet no longer be callable/ controlable?
Please avoid comments about removing my pants and controlling my pet.... ![]()

It is my understanding that once you have the pet in your datapad, your CH taming skills ar no longer in play. But perhaps one of the more veteran CH's can verify that...?

I have had cl70 pets in my datapad before that were fully trained and tamed, but I could not call them unless I had the be clothing on. For some it is required after the tame also.

You will need the clothes to call the pet from your datapad (until you have enough natural skill at least), but once out you do not need to wear the clothes.

Thanks for the replies! I have happily sporting my taming, mask scent, and camo clothing now and loving having something work for a change...

Ababy will of course become red when it has gone aggro on a handler who has failed to tame it. With high level vicious pets, if you fail to tame them four or five times in a row, they get annoyed with you and attack. It is likely that the baby was red because someone had recently pissed it off.
