Thread: Pet SPECIALS 1 single command word not working

It would be nice, but it seems it don't work.

I use one prime command word to activate a stat special from a pet.

Since I was grinding low level pets, I began testing giving a pet 2 stat specials.

My special attack macro was set and I kept giving the command. But in the end, only one special would work.

Wonder if it would be best to to create a dual macro:

/spec;
pause 1
/spec2

Anyone try this?

Anyone train a pet with 4 stat specials?

Each special needs a distinct word, just like any other command.

Well if you wanted to run a macro I would suggest
call macro Spec
/shout(or scream or say) [command letter];
/shout(or scream or say) [next command letter];
/shout(or scream or say) [yet another command letter];
/macro Spec;

ex
/shout z;
/shout x;
/shout c;
/macro Spec;

I am using 3 macros atm, one for state attack, another for defensive skills and then a 3rd for everything else. I have not tried with 2 skills under one command yet, if they don't work I would imagine a pause should function with 2 or more different commands. Another help is setting up any macros for triggered through your numpad for easy shortcut.

Try with using the same command for both and just using a single /tellpet

eg. Train pet 'state'

macro name state

/tellpet state;

If both attacks do not work on any target (don't forget some may be resistant to attack type, look for the resisted text during fight, try on several animals) try seperating these skills.

eg. train pet 'state' & 'state2'

macro name state

/tellpet state;

/pause 2;

/tellpet state2;

Don't loop them because it may make pet attack any target you have highlighted once you switch.

Yeah right pain

Another thing what is the max amount of slots you have unlocked. I have only had 4, but haven't got around to leveling up higher level pets much beyond learning skills.

I may just grab a lower level one to test out these skills soon.

Haven't grinded heavy to open alot of slots due to learning skills.

I was wondering the slot status myself. Say you have 2 level 35 pets. if you can open 4 slots on each, that would be very interesting.

Pet 1 could have 4 level 1 specials and be a total state beast. Blind, Stun, Bleed, & Intimidate. All these stacked in a well spaced command macro.

Pet 2 could be the confusion damage dealer. Knockdown, Vigerous Health, Beastly Con, & Thick Skin all at level 1.

This needs to be tested.

If you have the ability, you can use stopping shot to pin you prey and send these 2 pets in with 5 specials hitting (hope they stick). Then all you need to do is waste your action bar on main attacks.

Hmmmmmmmm....

OK I am lazy and not good with macros. I had a dewback that I taught bleed,intim,stun and knockdown. I know knockdown is not a state attack best I have sorry. I was able to get knockdown then bleed, then stun and finally intim to all work on same target. Sometimes I would get the resist message but all the commands seemed to work for me. Worked for me useing /tellpet and not useing tellpet.

Sorry little tired and if I misunderstood question.

Excellent! This looks like a big plus for us. The grind my suck, but the outcome seems bright.
