I was wondering if anyone had done analysis on this attribute. I built a level 35 vesp and trained him level one intimidate and was not very happy with the result. It appears the prey we were killing, level 80+, were resisting intimidate often, my estimation is intimidate held 1 in 10 attempts.
What is the problem? Is it the level of my pet or the level or intimidate?
Hamstring level 1, on the other hand, held very well, I'd say every other attempt.
Which brings to mind another question: what is the benefit of intimidate levels two and three? Lasts longer? Reduces hits more? Better for higher level pets?
Sorry to focus on this attribute, but I find this ability attractive.

I noticed that this special didn't want to "stick" as well. I'm having the same results with Eye Gouge too.
While other abilities such as knockdown and imperiling feint seem to work on command.

Having been a pikeman at one point I can say that I noticed the stat intimidate didn't work all the time either when I was running a macro with it. It may not be the pet but rather the special ability no matter what it is connected to; toon or pet.

Intimidate 1 does not stick very well or often, Intimidate 2 however seems to be landing between 50-75% of time.

I am really wondering about this myself... I have a lvl 64 festering squill that I trained with this ability lvl 1 an against lvl 65 mobs he lands it about 50% of the time on the 1st try. Then again some mobs it takes 4 or 5 trys it to land. So how does this really work? I.E. at lvl 2 an 3 is there more damage reduction? Or is it just a better chance of landing?

And how much does it decrease the enemies' damage output?
From what I'm seeing there is no difference between intimidate 1 and 2, only difference between these two is how often the state is landing. Off the top of my head, the damage reduction is approximately 20% give or take 5%
