Here's a good chance to ask my question on these things... what is the big deal about them? I completely understand that they are rare and hard to get (and one day when I feel like I've gotten my other pets where I want them I'll go off to find one to tame just so I can say I tamed one) and so I see the rarity aspect, but are they all that great otherwise? I can make BE'd pets that have better stats with almost 3k more health and 30-40 more damage, etc. etc. And I'm under the impression that the CL determines how many ability slots you are able to have on a pet, and so the CL doesn't make it all that appealing to me either.

Anyway, if the whole thing with these guys is that they are rare, how does buying one from someone else who had the thrill of finding and taming it fulfill that need? I guess in the end you have your rare pet, but it takes all the fun out of it. I'm not trying to flame at all, I'm honestly curious if there is some magic thing I'm missing about these things that make them so great beyond the fact that they are rare.
