How do you make your pet eat the cheap Bofa Treats from your inventory, instead of the expensive Thaktillo? I lost several Thaktillo and Exo-Protein Wafers to my hungry Gurrcat before I realized it was happening.

It's just like when your out camping. You have to hide the good stuff or the greedy little buggers will eat it all.

Put your foods in a container of some sort, not in the general inventory. I hide all my food for me in a satchel in the backpack.

Pets will scarf down your spice, too, if you just leave it lying around in the inventory. When you feed the pet from the radial, the first food item found in the inventory, from top to bottom, left to right, is what the pet will eat, be it a bofa treat or shadowpaw.

I've been MCH for months and only just discovered a couple of days ago that pets will eat the good food

And then only because I read about it here on the boards. Sheesh. I've been very, very lucky.
