Some "new" stuff that I've experienced of late:
- Pets will stay back when following me (no longer standing on top of me as they were ith publish 6), but multiple pets won't respect each other's 'space' and still stand inside one another. Makes it really hard to target them.
- My BE dewback mount won't follow automatically when out. If I want him to follow me, I have to keep using tellpet. They'll follow me to one spot, if I stop, I then have to use tellpet again when I start moving once more. I haven't tested this with other pets yet.
- Pets' HAM bars don't update anymore when being healed. *Sometimes* if I feed them, then the bars update. Same for using the trick commands. No status change in their mind bar.
- If a pet is in combat, sometimes it's difficult to get them to switch targets. May just be in situations where multiple MOBs are attacking a pet.
- Here was an odd one from last night. I was in combat with my BE dewback mount. It was getting too serious so I hopped aboard and galloped off. Once we were clear and in a camp, I could not store him or feed him. Spatial store commmand did not work, and the radial menu would only give me three options: 'examine', 'follow', and 'climb aboard pet'. This state continued for several minutes and was NOT related to the 60 second post-combat store timer. The server was going down soon after that I just logged off for the night with him in that condition.
Easy solution with the Targeting issue is if you have your pets grouped, then just hit 'Alt', move the cursor to the name of the pet in your group you want to target and click on it.This will target your preferred pet.
As for getting them to attack different enemies in Mobs, you might want to give each pet a separate 'Attack' command and make a Macro for 'Follow Me'. The only effective way of pulling a pet off of one target and getting him to attack another is to Command it to Follow You and then immediately Command it to attack the next Targeted Enemy. This technique also saves lives, not only your own, but others in your hunting party.
Pet Pathing is still a problem, but I hope this helps you on the first two issues.
The pet not following you automaticla is also at hand with my savage humbaba (my mount). Everytime i call him he just lay down, and everytime over again. If I start running he won't follow just stay at his place. The autostore problem i had some less then before the last hotfix, but it is still there and should be a major isseu for the devs.
For the not updating HAM, i think it is something that don't reflect to the pets HAM bars only. Mine experience bars sometimes also get stuck, as wel as some other players dissappear from screen and ham don't update anymore. Hope that they fix this fast it is very irritating and even sometimes can cost lifes i you are the medic of the group.
Also i noticed that sometimes i used some petstims to heal my pet and stored it directly after to make a slot free for taming. Next time i call the pet it isn't healed at all, but my pet stim is away. And those pet stims aren't very cheap.
A few updates-
I tried my non BE dewback mount, and he had the same problems as the BE one- not following unless told. However, my natural, non-mount pets seemed to act normally. Perhaps this is just restricted to mount pets for some reason?
Autostoring has also become a huge issue. To be honest, I think I only had a pet autostore on me once or twice in the time I'd been an MCH prior to publish 6. Now they seem to go poof at least a few times a night. If they happened to be fighting something, sometimes it goes with them (not too bad that way, aside from loss of xp and looting).
I also had the same situation happen again tonight (that I described in my original post), where my BE dewback mount wouldn't store, couldn't be fed, and only had a few options available under the radial menu after I pulled him out of combat and fled a fight using gallop. Tonight I discovered that he also wouldn't respond to any kind of spatial or tellpet commands. In one instance, he wouldn't fight until I was incapped and the mob turned on him. In an instance after that, he wouldn't fight at all even though he was being attacked.
Oh, to add to your list of bugs...
If a pet with non-responding (to heals)HAM bars gets incapped, using a stim to revive them will not work and you cannot feed an unconscious pet for the HAM bar update work-around. Storing the pet off the radial menu is the only way to revive it. Setting up a camp to call the pet back out for revival is, well... not an option in the middle of combat.
Does the special attack command only working to initiate combat (that macro actually does break combat to be reinitiated) count as a bug?

The biggest problem I have right now - mounts not following me. Both wild and BE pets are doing it. I get off have them follow me, as soon as I stop and they get up to me they stop. When I start walking again the mount just stays there. Really annoying.

Same problem with mounts and also with pets always being on top of each other or on me. Makes it a real pain when you have 2 or 3 of the same pet out trying to select one of them.
