It seems the BE's are calling for a nerf of probots because they are afraid it will replace their non-ch pet sales. Typical SOE give a professing something good and then give it away to another profession a month later. lol It seems they are upset the a probot owned a BE non-ch pet. Funny, they were not upset when a BE non-ch pet owned a tamed non-ch pet. They could care less how tough it is to make one.

I can't see why anyone would have a problem with combat droids.
From what I gather, players will be able to have a droid AND a creature out at the same time.

Sure, just give away on of the few CH only perks, multiple pets out. I guess the DE's will be able to "train" commands to the droids. Next BE's will be given the ability to train BE pets. Only fair right? Wait another CH only "perk" gone. Want to bet that a MCH will not be able to call 3 pets and 3 probots? LOL I bet the probot will also count against our Max Pet Levels so a Novice would not be able to call a CL 12 pet and a CL 10 probot? lol

I think the equation at the moment goes as follows:
non-ch can call either1 droid or1 pet, not both at once
a ch without creature management III can call 1 droid and 1 pet
a ch with creature management III can call 1 droid and 2 pets (if they do not exceed the max lvl ofpets counted up the levels)
and a mch can call 1 droid and 3 pets (if counted up the levels don't exceed the max lvl of pets)
hope they don't change that one, we are nerfed enough.

I am a ch 0/1/0/0 and I can call both my gurrcat and my r2 healing droid at the same time, I am not sure if this is affected by the fact that I have ch. I wouldn't think so as I dont have creature management 3 I am only able to have one pet out. I did tes **edit** and I can have one of each, not two of either though. Hope that makes sense.

I'm at CH 2/2/2/2 and I regularly use a pet and probot at the same time when soloing.
Before I got CH I could either call one or the other, once I got Novice CH I could call my pet + probot no problem.

Actually it is not a call to nerf probots, it is a declaration of an injustice, and lies, a way to AVOID a nerf themselves. The devs claim that a pet with HAM of 4k/2k/2k is still too powerful for a non-CH to use, and so those shall be nerfed. However, when you look at the effective HAM of a probot, you have a pet with over 5k for each pool, higher accuracy, slightly higher damage, slightly lower attack speed, capable of carrying crafting stations, healing modules, or storage modules,and invulnerable to status effects. So what they are saying is it is a complete lie to say that animal non-CH pets are currently overpowered and mechanical non-CH pets are underpowered (their justification for the new combat droids), when even now a probot can hands down beat an "overpowered" non-CH pet.

Creature pet levels do not effect calling a droid out at the same time. ie. i can call a CL70 pet and my droid at the same time, or my 2 CL35 pets out w/ a droid.

MrHawat, the BE's are not calling for DE nerf's. lol, please. If you find a post to the contrary, that does not make them our spokesman. I don't care in the slightest about the DE thing and actually welcome the addition. I go to the BE boards every day and have not seen a single negative DE post. Thanks for showing though.
