Thread: CH skill trees needed to tame/mount/call a Brackaset and Kaadu (+others)

Hi, all. The CH profession seems like quite a nice profession to master but unfortunately given the skill points I need to master the other professions I'm interested in, I can only pick up Novice CH and three skill trees within it. This brings me to the questions that I have:
What skill trees in the CH profession would I need in order to mount a Brackaset, Kaadu, and a Bantha? I've read a few posts and visited a character builder web site and noticed that I would at least need 0004 in order to train them to be mounts ... so if I were to drop 0004 later on (since I can only work on three skill trees once I'm done mastering the professions I'm working on :\) would I be able to still mount the creatures I trained to mount and call them from the data pad? Given that I have to drop 0004 (unfortunately), what would you recommend to pick up in order for me to be able to mount said creatures?
I just love the idea of riding around on a creature (: There was a nice fellow who was kind enough to let me borrow a baby Cu Pa to ride around in, and I've just fallen in love with CH ever since then.

I'd say go up in the Creature Training tree (x4xx). This will give you +16 stored pets and +24 to your max level of pets. I THINK this should put you up high enough to control a brackaset (CL 30??). I wouldnt worry about gaining the ability to train them as mounts, just find a friendly MCH to do the mount training for you.
Of course now that I think of it, you could go all the way in Creature Management (xxx4). This would still give you +24 to max level of pets, but would only give you +4 stored pets. So if all you really want is mounts you won't be storing many pets AND Creature Management gives you the ability to call 2 pets at once. A nice side feature.
So if you want more stored pets, go with Creature Training, if you only need to store a few go with Creature Management. Avoid Creature Empathy, even working towards MCH it will be the last tree I finish.
