Creature Loot
- Skill Mod Buffs
- Stat Buffs
- Optional Crafting Components
- Weapon Mods
- Armor Mods
- House Decoration Items
- Fluff
More armor segments, teeth, components, and decorations. Take a look at what's left next time your rancor squishes a durni. Might find a surprise.
And what exactly is "Fluff" and can I eat it?

Since harvesting is the only effective way for us to make money, this should help out a ton. Prices for the new loot are going to be insane until the market is saturated, and Creature Handlers are in a prime position to supply new armor segments, teeth, resource types, etc.

I think what they meant was this: you won't be looting cdef rifles from rancors and you won't be looting 2 units of hide from nightsisters. Not at you are going to be looting weapons for your pets.

Hmmm.....does this mean I should start looting every creature I kill from now on?

NPC vs. Creature Loot
One of the things that will make the loot system more interesting is increasing the types of loot that NPC's and creatures drop. Just finding weapons or clothing on NPC's will result in the slow decay of the crafting economy. Harvesting resources from creatures quickly grows uninteresting if it is the focus of the loot mini-game. The new loot system will be able to address both of these problems.
"Creature Loot" is loot that is dropped by creatures (as opposed to "NPC Loot" which is dropped by NPCs). I haven't really heard about any loot that's useful for creature (pets) in this first pass. Unless you count the mask scent skillmod injection.

uh, i don't see how harvesting is supposed to be the only effective way for a ch to make money, might be true for ranger/ch but definitely not for every other combination with ch, so it's pretty much something good for a ranger, but far away from really helpful for a ch.
actually i really doubt that all that loot is gonna be really good anyway, i don't expect good prices for it as soon as people figure out what of that stuff is useless if not all of it.

I think it would be a nice addition if there was some type of loot that a bio-engineer could use to both enhance the dmg of a cloned pet OR create a form of stim for a CH to use as a damage add for a tamed pet!

do you know a way more effective that would pay over 3 mil in a couple days? because i would like to know...harvesting is a scout skill and every ch can harvest..when people are paying 100-200 cpu for creature resources, why not?..you might even find some babies while you're out there..or are you one of the ch's that buys pets and takes hand me downs?...i don't understand how a ch doesn't like to be out hunting.i really don't...especially when you factor in ridiculous money
