Hello all,I have recently returned to SWG after a 3 month break, and boy does this new creature leveling grind suck. Anyways, now that all of my old creatures are useless with no abilities; I have to recollect them. I noticed with single spawn creatures like the GPS and Stone skin Hanadak don't spawn after you kill them. What is the deal? Do I have search for babies sitting out in the wild now? Is there a secret to getting them to respawn? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sadly, I'm no longer a MCH (Too much work for a character that's going to be my Jedi) But the only way to get them to respawn, is to target them, mark a waypoint, drive away until it disapears, then come back. The creature should "Respawn" And you have a chance at getting a baby. I was able to get a Great Plains Stalker, an Ikopi Stag, and a Stoneskin Hanadak all with this method. It doesn't take tallent, or even luck really. It just takes time.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply bro. I will try this method. I just read that this trick is no longer working post pub 24. Hopefully this is not the case. It's already hard enough to find GPS adults ugh.

I managed to tame a Stoneskin Hanadak last Saturday on the 22nd using the discussed technique. I might add, once you find your initial creature of interest, move out in a random direction till you find your 2nd creature of interest before returning to the first way point. Remember to record a waypoint at each encounter. The more waypoints you visit, the better the odds become over a long period of time. Revisiting the waypoints the next day might reveal some of the nests you encountered before, others will have disappeared. Your tenacity will determine the success of the tame mission. Almond Crunchies and BE taming clothing not included.

Enlarge that radar screen to a full 1/6th* of the screen size to maximize the chances of you spotting a baby on the radar. Use the mouse pointer over each yellow blip to I.D. the contact in the radar scope.

*Bottom left box of an imaginary screen division of two horizontal rows of three boxes for those who can't stand fractions.

Yep, this is a good method. Try about 500m out before returning to the spot.
