Being an explorer type, and curious if the devs had dropped in other islands like the triplet-grinding island... er, Skaak tipper island outside of Kaad I decided to drive all around the edge of the Naboo map today. I found no new islands, and only made it halfway before I saw this:

It seems you are being stalked by a Swamp Stalker.

Here I am in the mountains near -7300, -2450 and a Swamp Stalker is after me. Unlikely, but I circle around and there it is. I really would like one of these truely rare cats, so I drop a waypoint on him and start to drive away. I drive right past an Ikopi Stag! Another 100m and I'm passing a Plains Hunter. I start driving in circles and soon the place is crawling with Plains Hunters, Swamp Stalkers, and Ikopi Stags, all in a 2km area near those coords, roughly NW of the Weapon Development Facility POI.

I have plenty of screenies, including an areatrack showing 3 of each of the above single-spawns in a 512m radius. I also have one showing a Swamp Stalker aggo'ing an Ikopi Stag baby... and the Stag killing my BARC with it's AoE attack (doh! should've stayed back...). I am currently looking at 3 Ikopi Stag babies all in small area. Interesting that so many respawned at babies all at once in one spot.... I had seen no other babies before the one that killed my bike, but now I've seen probably 15 Ikopi Stag (baby)s and NO Plains Hunter or Swamp Stalker babies. I must've cause hundreds of respawns by now, as the area is crawling with all three of those critters (and Imp NPCs).

Maybe the Imps rounded up all these CL30 critters for the Private Imperial Hunting Grounds.. I dunno, but I'd really appreciate it if folks on servers other than Lowca (where I've already seen this) could see if this is the same for them. I may start a character on another server myself to check, but getting to that location from 'Naked Noob' status would be non-trivial depending on vehicle prices on that server.

8pm eastern time. server Tempest.

Just as I came over the mountain into the valley, nice area by the way, I saw 2 baby veermoks and momma, I continuesd on to wp and was a little disheartened to find nothing there, I decided i would circle the area and quickly saw 4 swamp stalkers, then came apon at least a half dozen plains hunter's, there was also 7 trooper spawns in different areas.

when I came back around to the wp there were now stags there allover the mountain top. after speanding 15min here life is definatly growing. I have to log for a while but will check back later tonight

Ya know, Tat is having wonderful things happen at 0 0 . Today I had spawns by my house north of Mos Entha. Mind you I have never seen anything spawn there since the CU. Got to wonder if somehow this is all related.

Wish they would keep the interns out of the spawn scripts.

I took a spin out there on Chilastra and yes, I found stalkers and hunters but no Stags although I don't doubt they are there too. No babies but that would be a bit much to hope for eh?

Im checking this on valcyn as we speak and hoping to find an ikopi stag baby....Btw, is the area attack still working? I had heard that since publish 24 some peoples pets were no longer naturally using their area attack.

Many thanks to those of you who have (or are going to) check this on other servers. This makes it seem like perhaps someone did indeed botch the spawn tables when adding the 3 new spiders (and Notur'lan), new fambaa boss (and new shaupauts I've heard about but not encountered) and new Skaak NPCs.

I still haven't finished circling Naboo so there may be other pockets with the other missing stuff tucked away in some unlikely place, but I'd rule out the middle section of the east-west mountain range (at least as far east as Deeja, anyway), anything north-easterly of that (as I've been all over that area from Keren eastward, my home being on the cliffs that is my usual idle wandering area), and along the western border of the world.

Hopefully they will have this fixed soon, but in the mean time perhaps some CH can score a normally uncommon (but alas, otherwise unspectacular) baby. I never did see a Stalker or Hunter baby, but the Ikopi Stags were babies prolly 5-10% of the time.

In response to murderz, the AoE is most certainly working when they are wild, but post-taming I don't know. I didn't grab one myself, but one a Swamp Stalker aggro'ed (those guys are extremely vicious... anything standing close enough was a target, though I also saw a Gungan Kaadu aggro on a Gungan Merc [twice, even, and kick the Merc's butt...], although in the first case it was then eaten by a Swamp Stalker within seconds ) killed my BARC speeder with it's AoE when I got too close to the fight. Definitely use a mount or don't use the tame-from-bike trick for those guys just in case Good luck, and if it DOES have the AoE use it with care!

As of last night, my bull rancor was aggroing everything in sight whenever he attacked a single creature, so yes, I think wild tames are still using the AoE attacks.

I have been grinding on Naboo (lowca) since the pub. I have yet to see an Ikopi, unless the mountains have them. A lot of the mountain has come to the plains. Pekos are abundant in the plains, nests everywhere. Spitting Rawls infest the plains, they were never there. I have not seen any insects except for the Spineflaps, but mostly mission lairs. Now I am grinding in the area of Goontown (NW plains)on Lowca, so havent really checked out the entire area, but definately things have well, changed , including some madly spawning ForceComp camps that are everywhere spawing on houses, lairs, anywhere they want hehe. Its a mess. My Av-21 has gotten stuck in the ForceComp compounds five times now, they spawn enroute .

I'll check it out on Ahazi, seems to be a good self-imposed quest and if I do get a baby a great quest reward!

and my Blood-Frenzied Boar Wolf is able to use his AOE post-24. so I know I am ok on that. I'll keep you all posted if anything chances
