Looking for opinions. I have always liked Ch and I might switch back to it if I can do well at PvP. My Build will look simmilar to this: MBH (for high end loot)MCH, and CM 4000. Please post opinions on weather you think I will be able to take out people in PvP.

Most of the specials aren't quite as effective as at least I for one was hoping for, but pets certainly do work against certain templates. Basically, attacking people with glowy sticks is out, people weilding rubber mallets, fancy pants wookie hand thingies, CM+(Insert high defense ranged prof here), and Doctor+CM+(Insert high defense ranged prof here). This leaves Commandos who don't have BH, (I think as a commando i'm more rare than a CH was a year ago in PvP!) Fencers, (As I understand it their prof is pretty bad in just about all respects) and other ranged templates who have gone solely for an every-trick-in-the-book except for healing and defense strategy. I have actually beat a guy like the last option fairly easily before in a duel just using a damage capped pet, but as I understand the whole To-hit vs. damage thing it could of gone higher, I think he tried healing once but I guess it was just a stimpack :/. All I know is the critter was really laying down the DPS and my commando weapons actually hurt, so I guess there's definently a group of people a CH can beat in PvP, especially if a CH has an actually really powerful ranged prof
. Basically, its pretty much the old old tale, in that we can only beat opponents who have chosen some outlandishly complicated template designed to counter a bunch of other templates moves, and don't have anything against DPS. At all. That's pretty much what i've found, if your not a CH/commando like me you'll probably be relying on your other profession a lot more anyway.......

MBH/MCH 4000 CM here and it's a very viable template for jedi hunting at least.

I think that when we get to the level 80 cap on pets we will be much more viable. I went after a jedi with my pets and I am also Pike and I was able to keep up with him on the dmg. We were doing equal dmg although his mind dropped faster than mine and that's what gave me the win. I like the 3 pets for PVP rather than relying on just one, the DPS is way higher.

I highly reccomend it.I use my pets in duels so even if i get knocked down, my pet is still attacking. If you have a baby pet, then usually the enemy doesn't even target it. But, as ch/pikeman I have not lost in a duel yet.

If you add CH and good PvP skills together you would get the answer and question to life, the universe, and everything, and as we all know if both things were known simultaneously in the same universe it would instantly explode and be immedietly replaced with another, more naive universe.

CH is good at pvp against people without high defense, since pets have low to hit values ![]()
I can beat non tank templates though ![]()
