I just tamed an Elite level 70 lava flea guard that originally had 15,800 health.

Upon taming it retained it's elite chevrons but the stats reverted to the stats of a standard level 70.

Standard level 70... absolutely nothing special. ~6700 health ~100-396 damage, 2.0 speed 170 to hit. No specials.

But I did tame a Kabaza Beetle (level 70 non elite, I know I probably butchered the name) that came with defensive agility 3.

i just SOOOOO hope there will be a CL 80 mountable pet with ranged attack, please!!!!

There SHOULD be one, I saw a level 80 Lava flea tonight, I see no reason why it wouldn't be mountable, and since the devs said ONLY one creature wouldn't spawn babies your wish should come true!

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.
