Simple question and although I don't really expect to see any DEV replies, is still feel compelled to ask.
Why would any profession be restricted to a reward, an ability or their due right as a "master" just because they do NOT have class status from any other UNRELATED professions?
This is exactly the case in point with the new expansion and "content". The bone that has been thrown to placate MCH's with the new "taming necklace" reward on ToOW. ALL Master Creature Handlers are not equal: any below class 80 are being punished, (and you can't get 80 on just CH alone btw) we're cast aside and basically shown that they do not count as a master of their trade.
Nevermind the grind, nevermind the SP consumption, nevermind the devotion to a trade that may actually be FUN (a few of us may remember what that is from the old days). If you are NOT a double combat zombie then to SOE you do not deserve to play on an even field with the rest of the galaxy.
I would like to know how any other profession would handle the disadvantage.
My main account is a MCH/MBE and I have never wanted to be anything else. Pera is good at what she does has turned the other cheek with nerfs to pets, shifts in DNA from BE fudge-ups on the Dev side, critical fails and being excluded from crafting patches.....and virtually relearned an entire trade. CH has been the constant if not the powerhouse.
SOE can please answer to WHY? why is a master not qualified to be "master"?
Just because there is some diversity in the game still? Is this another push to eliminate all support toons? Or was it just another in the long list of seemingly thoughtless oversights in developement towards a "better" SWG?
Looking for answers and wondering if this is really another intentional slap in the face. If not then what can be done to even the playing field in this "balanced system".

I look at it this way. I have a BE/CH who cannot get the necklace because she is only cl57. That is ok, she is not really a combat toon and could still tame some of the new creatures (actually - the better looking creatures!! Oh - I love the Raptors)on Mustafar.
OddWan is the combat character, she remains true to her beginnings of CH/TK so not the most offensive fighter, but it suits me. She now has the opportunity, as a combat chosen character, to increase her abilities. This is what the content is giving us.
A master CH is still a master, even if they do not learn all those new abilities out there. Some CH choose to go that path, effectively grinding out master ch all over again - others choose not to.
OddWan has gone that path - she is in effect a double-master CH. She is also combat orientated and will now benefit from using her SP to have a combat profession alongside her CH profession. THIS is what the creature handling bonus necklace is about. It is added content for combat cl80 to give them a combat master's ability to have the higher end weapons. It stated right from the beginning that those who use it MUST be CL80 AND a Master CH, not that this necklace is for Master ch - oh, but only for some.
We all make choices within those 250 SP. Sometimes it is very difficult, and basically this is why some of us have 2 accounts. Everything I wanted to try - I did with my alt Oddi. The dancer, the chef, the tailor, and now BE and the inevitable CH which seems to appear in every character I make.
Not wanting to cause flame trouble, but the Devs were very clear on this point from the beginning. It is a reward for for double-combat mastery. The fact that it is one specifically for CH is just - awesome.
