Ive always wondered why everyone in the galaxy automatically is born with aknowledge of which damages types are best against every creature in the galaxy. Why isnt this information tied to creature knowledge? I would like to see the devs make it so you are able to see more resists as you level up scout classes. An idea of mine for this isat novice scout you would only be able to see if the creature had up to a 20% resist vs any given damage type, for instance. If a creature had 90% resist to heat the number that it would show you upon exameningitwould only be 20% resist to heat and as you progress farther up the scout tree you would be able to see higher numbers of resists. It also shouldnt matter if you master CH, Ranger, or BEyour creature knowledge should cap whichever way you go. So only a master of one of these professions could tell if a creature or pet was immune to a certain damage type.

Not to flame or anything, butI dont agree with that at all. Thats kinda going backwardsfrom making things balanced. It would require everyone in the gameto get master scoutor higher. Right now if you want to be good at PvP or PvEthere are certain templates you have to use. So then if you wanted to be effective at PvE you would have to get scout. Once the combat revamp hits, its going to balance all the professions out so each one can be effective and you dont need to have a particular template to be good. Besides, there is only certain things you can see w/out master scout right now anyways, CL, meat and such, not sure what master ranger can see, but you understand what im saying.

This does motivate grouping though and would probably only make a difference when fighting high level creatures anyway which will supposedly require a group anyway. Or maybe make it only apply to creatures that will require more than one person to take out. I really just want them to hide these stats in pvp because its a major weakness for your opponent to know exactly what your pet is veurnerable to. I mean seriously, I caint see his resists so why can he see my pets?

Oh, for PvP that im cool with and agree with you on 100%. I have never done PvP with my pet yet, but hopefully with the combat revamp CH will be pretty good in PvP.

Also, I agree about the pet stat thing.

lol ok, but pvp with pets requires BE pets. Good ones too so expect to spend a bit of cash.
