Thread: What are the toughest creatures around?

Ok this isn't really a ch question but I thought if anyoen would know, it would be ch's!
I'm feeling confident and maybe a bit cocky and am wondering what the toughest creatures are and where I can find them. If anyone knows (co-ordinates if you have em please!) then please let me know! Might be gettign myself into a world of trouble here but I'm curious to see just how tough I am!!
I have heard of Krayt Dragons and I'll be staying clear of those for a good while yet as I know I'm not that good but even still, I'd like to see just how much I can bite off and chew!
As a side question what level of creature can a can novice ch with no other skills in the ch arena have or control?

a pair of good CL35 rancors acting as twins works well... uhh... CL13 in an arena? :S lol. it would need to be made by a BE who knows what he is doing! if its pet V pet, get one with high kinetic, i have seen CL10's with 10k-8k-6k HAM respectivly, 60% kinetic resistance and stuff like that, most folks go for the razor cat skin. hope that helps. unless i missread... :S

If you want to attack tough creatures, go to endor. If you want to tame tough creatures, go to endor. 
Those creatures normally come in at high levels tho, like 40+. If you want a good novice CH pet I think the wrix is low enough, on Corellia. In terms of finding creatures to tame, this is your best friend: swgcreatures. Good luck!

Endor will tear you up, its as rough as Dathomir for creature handlers. Between the arachnes, mereks, gurrecks, bark mites, boar wolves, and mantigrue, its all just another way to get eaten alive. Dathomir really isnt that bad; I spent last night Gaping Spider Queen hunting and only the Nightsisters were any trouble. The creatures arent as nasty, theres just a helluva lot more of em...

Actually, Endor is my favorite planet for leveling up
You go to the Salma Desert and run around for a little bit and you get some great exp. Just be careful when you are doing a final break on merek or arachnae lairs cause they usually spit out some unexpected friends All in all the creatures are spread out quite nicely so you have space to work if you are a ranged profession. On the other hand...Dathomir is simply awful from my exp as a CH thusfar. I haven't tried with my new Radiant CH yet, but I know with my one on Bria, I'd die within seconds of stepping out of the starport, buffed or not
Rancors and nightsisters just don't seem to be impressed with my dance moves

I've spent quite a bit of time on Endor. I am fortunate enought to have found some decent sliced composte 80 armour and it has been my saviour. With that and a buff I have spent hours at Endor gaining loads of XP. Went on a group mission and me and 1 other guy who happened to have the same armour as me survived while everyone else died! Maybe co-incidence but it has really helped me. Ventured on to Dathomir for the first time and thought it was great. The Rancors were not as tough as I expected but again I think that has more to do with my good armour...think I'm gonna need ot buy a few sets as its worth its wait in gold!! It would hae taken me ages to get pistol xp without it!!

Found a couple of Rancors and they were fun to kill!! They weren't as tough as I was expecting...I thought for the first few moments (when I panicked!! lol) that I was gonna get beat up bad by them but my armour managed to keep my ass in one piece!!

And hence the reason CH is consideredthe most nerfed combat prof in the game. Any noob can spend a week in the game and kill our highest level pets.

lol. I shan't take taht personally then! lol. But I get your point. With the right armour and even a mid level weapon anyone can take on these creatures....

Bark Mite Burrower Queen
Bull Rancor
a very nice pair of bio pets with 60% kin
I do have a combo that I think can beat it but will have to wait for BEAST Wars tournament to prove of mine will dominate.

Personally I think I am the only person in the game that PvP's and PvE's unarmored lol 
. OF course the part that I'm a master rifleman may be a part of it.......but let not take about that lol. But I agree armor is to the point were any one any were can put on a full suite of composite go to Dantooine and hunt what ever they want. Although this is of topic.......lol

From my personal experience here are my god I hate them list.
Prowling gurreks lvl 45 and you are never going to find one alone. You will get ganked by three or four of them, and they are no slouches they always seem to run faster then the player, and have decent kinetic resists hard to take down.
Woolamander harrower sick poisoning power on these little fellows, and if they stick their dizzy knockdown your in real trouble.
Kliknik lair boss spawn. You know when you finish off a nest and six of these guys come chargeing out at once.
Mantrigue whichever one has the plague strike.
Krayts are just not hard aslong as your a melee stacker, but if your not damned near impossible. The same is true of the gorax. From my experience the hardest enemies in the game are npcs.
Try out a nightwitch elder, or a dark jedi npc, and for true fun try playing with the tusken observer in fort tusken. I have never seen any one player beat that guy.
