I just thought this was kinda cute, and made me remember the old days.
I was standing on LOK, not really doing anything but sending mindless tells when i recived a tell from a person i didnt recognize. It was a new member to the community seeking my help considering a creature.
So i travel the 8000 meters on my swoop, reciving tells as i travel that i have to be very carefull cause these creatures are very hard.
So i get there, and this patron in her chitin armor stands patiently behind a house so the parents and the baby wouldnt agro her.
She had found a spined snake baby
So she asks me to tame it for her, also to see the creature lvl of it. I tame it only to find out she dosnt have enough skill to controle it yet
She was very happy that i found out the creature lvl of it, and was going to grind ch so she could tame one herself I just thought this was kinda nice. Its so rare that i get a ch request besides people wanting me to train their mounts. Also it reminded me of my beginner days, falling in love instantly with a creature not caring what the stats were or if it was rare (not that i only look at this when i tame). Well it was just a breath of fresh air

Not that it is the same but close. I just the other day had a guy I had just met ask me where to tame Faamba's. I told him where to look and not long later I got another tell from him asking me for help. It has been so long since I ever thought about how it can be tough for a person to get a baby out of a lair. I mastered swordsman just to solve that problem. We all work so hard to get good at this profession that we so easily forget how many nuances there are to it that our newer additions have yet to find out.
Once again we have proven ourselves the most tight-knit profession around.
