Any suggestions ?

Ideally with good kinetic resistance as I do alot of hand to hand hunting(Tortons, Banthas etc).

I`ve heard Wrix`s and Gurrecks might be a good choice but have no idea of their CL or location for tamimg.

My two favourite current pets a Greater Sludge Panthas

Eomer

Reb Rivendale Crusaders

Elder Jedi & Alliance Ace Pilot

Nothing Got Enhanced(but everything got nerfed)

PvPing untill there is something else to do.

A Boar Wolf is a solid choice that meets your requirements. It's a level 25 with 50% kinetic resistance. They are pretty easy to find on Endor.

Boar wolf is your best bet, by far. Best kinetic resists at this level in the game.

I am still a fan of my GSP, but they were so much more powerful back in the day. still hard to argue with the 8500 HAM tank

Definitely the Boar Wolf. Best PvE tank at cl 25.

Then the Boar Wolf Ravager at cl 34... They are tougher than a Graul Mauler and a quarter the size.

Another vote for Boar wolf here. Great tanks.

Talking of Boar wolf Ravagers, can't seem to find any adults, let alone babies, anywhere on Endor.

I was lucky when I was looking for my Ravager... Eight of my friends were soloing to level various melee profs on endor at the time.

Four reports of adults, 3 with babys SE of the southern outpost. Three deaths (and two despawned babys) later I had one of my own.

Certainly the boar wolf is one of my top choices, but I also want to suggest an excellent cl 25 pet that is often over looked - the grand wrix (I have both). The boar's biggest advantage is its higher ham (9000 vs. 6500), and it does do a bit more damage so I do give it a slight edge. But the wrix has some advantages that make it worth considering. I actually think it does better vs. NPCs withlong range wpns. Here's a brief comparison. You can see the wrix compares very favorably. And, finally, thegrand wrix looks a lot cooler

Resistances: Kinetic 50%, Blast 30%, Cold 30%, Electricity 30%

Vulnerabilities: Energy, Stun, Heat, Acid

Special Attack: Stunning Strike

Ferocity: 0

Grand Wrix

Resistances: Kinetic 35%, Energy 30%, Heat 50%, Electricity 35%

Vulnerabilities: Cold, Acid

Special Attacks: Knock Down, Stunning Strike

Ferocity: 8

The Boarwolf at CL 25 and with it's 50% knetic is basically the best sub cl 40 tanking pet but the klilnik defenderat cl 27with 40% kinetic/energy of 25%is ok too.

Merek assassin with it's CL 31 and 50% kinetic/20% energy isgood also.

Plain Graul CL 30 , 50% kinetic and 20% energy is good, thopugh it blocks your veiw of what's happening.

Gleaming lanthern bird with good HAM and CL 34 and 35% kinetic/45% energy.

Aged lantern bird CL 27 and 55% energybut only 5% knieticthough it as 8k Ham , a great if not the best non-armored pet for combat against ranged npc's or clueless PvPer's

Another vote here for Boar Wolf, only if you are hunting other creatures though.
