I think you need the skillboxes to tame but are more likely to succeed. But I'm a Bothan so I have no clue how Wookiees handle it.

They get a bonus to taming vicious. It is the equivolent of +10 vicious clothing.

Your level is listed in "max level of pets" in the skill box. Being a Wookie does not alter that. Neither do the taming clothes. It just increases the chance of taming something within that level.

I will quote myself from another thread:

-

Unless their vicious level is really high. For example, Bull Rancors (level 65) level 65+ Kimogillas, and 65+ woolamanders cannot be tamed my a master CH (even though they can tame up to level 70 supposably) without taming clothes. The vicious level is (at least as far a I know) a hidden attribute that I wish I could see.

However the actual level you can tame does not go up. A master CH can only tame up to level 70 no matter what clothes he or she is wearing.

So, with taming clothing you can tame creatures you normally wouldn't be able to tame. But you still can't raise the max level listed in your skill box.

Hi Guys,

It's like this I can't tame anything you can't tame, what it means is that I have a better "chance" of taming something because of a wookies innate goodness (j/k). So if I am taming a baby bull rancor (myth) and you are taming one right beside me (myth) my "chances" of taming are a bit better than yours. Which means you will get your head bitten off first but if you wait a sec, I will join you at the cloning station.

LOL you know which profession is the most dangerous? BE cause they can kill anything with just a needle. hehehe

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

I think my point in the posts above was that saying your 'chance' increases is misleading. I will be clearer. As a non-wookiee Master CH, you will not even get the tame option on a bull rancor unless you have taming clothing. So if you are saying your 'chance' goes from 0 to a little bit, then saying your chances increase is correct, I guess.
