Greetings Community Brethren,

My account will be expiring at the end of this month and I shall not be renewing. This decision has not been made without sadness, as I will miss my pets fiercely. I have made screenshots of each of them This should provide some comfort in the months ahead.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the invaluable help so many of you have provided on this board. Tivo, you will be long remembered. /deepbow Pluto, keep up the good fight. You do what you must. Whether or not people agree with your methods, some things must simply be said.Vert, though I don't envy your position for a moment, please keep up the good work. We're behind you. Freth, I was sorry to see you leave our ranks. Daka, I wish you had found your Widow.

I may return at some point, once the devs have figured out the game is worth saving and have some vision. JustG's announcement that the combat rebalance was being put off indefinitely was the proverbial nail in the coffin for me.It speaks volumes well beyond what was actually stated.Besides having to cope with annoying bugs and workarounds, I have been running out of things to do. I have tamed all the rares I could with the exception of the Frenzied Graul, but after having killed about 220 of them, I started to become discouraged since the spawn rates on Dantooine seem to be feast or famine. Heck, we're even beginnning to question whether the tamable flag is working properly. Imagine the confidence this alone inspires. I wait for the middle of each month, hoping something will get better, but it doesn't. So, instead of wasting my time, energy,and money, I can invest them into other adventures. I feel badly not only for our profession, but all of them. Each is broken for good or bad in its own way. When I started playing August 1, I would never have imagined these problems would have prevailed to this day.

I have decided to keep my pets in my datapad instead of giving them to friends. Should I return later, I will not have need to track them down or wonder if they have taken vitality hits. I am in the process of getting my houses ready for friends to loot. They should be able to make some money off the armor and clothing attachments and resourcesI have collected during my history. I gave away an Armor Experimentation Skill Tape to a Master Weaponsmith I did not even know. It was only +1, but still, he was taken aback nonetheless.
