Please don't flame me for this silly question but I don't want to experiment to find the answer.

If I have master scout and CH skills 4-4-0-2 and have used up all my skill points, can I drop scout skills to regain skill points, or will I lose everything in CH automatically? I'm assuming that I do, but am hoping I wouldn't...

You can losethe master box, the trapping line, and the wilderness line scout skill and not affect your status as a CH.

I don't think that the system will allow you to give up a prerequisite skill for an elite profession. I've never tried to do so, though. The consquences, as you allude to, could be pretty devastating if the system automagically takes away all the skill boxes dependent on the one you just surrendered.

OK , all makes sense now, thought master scout was a prereq. for CH but closer observationusing theSWG profession calc.shows I only need the exploration and hunting trees as you stated.

WOW thanks, that just opened up a lot of new skill points for me!

Yup, that's a problem.

You can't give up ANY scout with those ranger boxes still in your skillset, because ranger is dependent on master scout.

Master scout also gives you the ability to see CL skill and that is very useful as a CH. It was difficult for me to give that one up.
