Just got my first Kaadu today, and I had a few questions . . . aside from, has anyone else noticed that the Kaadu's are always hungry and always wanting to play ?

When does creature growth happen ?

Is it "real-time" based ?

Is it "game-time" based ?

Does it happen when i am not logged on ?

Any help is greatly apprecieated.

I guess that got posted on the wrong thread...

To answer your question growth happens every 12/24 hours real life. It will happen when you are not logged in.

humm not true.

It will happen if you are or not logged in. For some reason my plain Hunter went from 4500 to 7200 in 1 hour while i was login. all my other pet did the same, skiping some growth. my friend CH got the same thing today. maybe there is a bug or something, but they do grow

Yes, watching them grow up is lots of fun. The first creatrue I made was a bearded Jax. At about 30% growth I started hunting her. We got 78 exp on Chuba and Numa, and over 100 on Nightspiders and Rawls. The only problem is she was just sooooo slow. Just about the time she grew up, I found a baby Rawl. I get the same experience with her as I did with the Jax, and she moves a lot faster. The only problem is, I have to wait for her to grow now. I had to destroy the Jax to give me the second slot back for training practice. I can hardly wait for Management II so I can hold more pets.

Since I am a "Novice" right now.

Can I use 2 pets at once ? Or hold 1 in the Datapad and use the other ? Or can I (shoud I) put both pets out and use them to attack, etc . . .

Is there any advantage to using 2 pets, aside from the obvious exp gain.

As a novice, you can only use one pet at a time. If you have 2 pets, then you are really limiting yourself. You can no longer train pets for experience, because you alread have all the pets you can hold at that level. So you only get experience from hunting with your one pet. That is why I had to destroy my Jax. To leave a slot open for training experience.

Cool, ok. So, I can keep on and play "catch and release" with another for the exp. That's a good idea.

Drugaal to answer your question, as a novice u can only have 1 pet out at the time, u can hold up to 4 creatures in your datapad, 2 agros and 2 non-agros. As u move up your stored pets will move up by 2, so I believe that u can hold 8 pets after the first stored pets +2, 4 agros and 4 non-agros.

But dont quote me on that not 100% sure yet.

I assume you mean novice as really new CH. Once you start moving up the skill trees, you can store more pets, and once you get Management III you can use 2 to fight with. You will still be called a novice in the game, so I may have misunderstood your question.

Yes, "Novice" as in just bought the skill this week.

And, yes, new to the class over-all.

Are you sure about that number of pets in the datapad for a novice? I had two in my data pad, and when I tried to train a third, I got a message that I had too many pets out. Since I had no pets out, I assumed that it meant that I could not train a third while I had two in the datapad.

I have two upper end pets in my datapad and am still able to tame things. I'm am currently working on finishing up my lvl 1 skills. I seem to have a problem taming otehr upper end creatures but lower end creatures tame just fine. But have also been able to tame things that earlier it said i couldn't. I believe there is a taming bug in this that needs to be fixed. And just so you know what I mean by upper end..my 9000 ham Plains Cat is my small pet. i consider right now 5k+ upper end.
