Someone said these were rare... huh?
So I went out and tamed 2 that day. Even though there are pound for pound touger that any CH pet, they will probably be let go if no one needs them..

isnt that funny? when i had CL30 only i took 2 days to find 1 merek assassin baby, during that i found about 100 DMA babys, now i cant even find a DMA to tame when im CL42 but i've tamed around 20 more merek assassins, released em all tho.

quite frankly, I find lots of both. Remember, if you are serching for babies, you dont usually get babies on a new lair, you must kill at least the first flight and maybe the second, and pull away from the lair, because when the babies spawn, they join the fighting if you are there. I killed 2 baby Faambaas yesterday that way yesterday.

I find these things everywhere. What I haven't seen in a long while is the toxic mereks. Although it is probably just bad luck. I have been wandering around Endor for weeks sampling DNA and delerious mereks are definately the most abundant babies I have come across of the Merek variety.

Toxics seem a lot like the gaping recluses. It's a pain to find a spawn (in the wild; you can get missions for recluses), however once you do it is easy to get a baby or two out of them.

Yeah, if you look NE of the Trade Outpost, you should find some DMA Babies eventually. Be warned, if your current ability to call / tame CL40, then you may have some trouble Taming these things, believe me, I know.
They are good pets for their level. I had one for the longest time, then once I tamed my TMB, I ultimately ended up selling my DMA to make space for rares and some BE'd pets.

I found 3 on my first trip through, but your right, they are one of the few decent pets left.
