I am a Master Creature Handler. I got it less than a month ago, I never got to have an uber monster pet. I did have a graul when they still had a little power before the new year. I would love to see what it was like when MCH's owned everything. I don't believe it will comeback, but I will say this, "I'M NOT GIVING MASTER CREATURE HANDLER UP!"

I soo want a GPS though....

Well, first month after publishing was no fun for me, so I quit for there were so many other, games out there and Im not really that much of a Star Wars addict that I had to play this game just to "be in" Star Wars.

I made Master Marksman this morning and I'm half up the rifleman tree so far, as well as half up the CH tree.

I Agree mate the proffession is crap compared to others but i enjoy it all the same i like going out an looking for the creatures taming them and watching them grow it like RL in which i train animals for a living it does give you a sence for pride to see your pet grow , and i know GSP are pretty useless since the patch but cats are my favorite pets untill i get a GPS am looking at the moment for Havent had any luck so far though

The CH profession is not crap compared to any it just depends on what you want to do, it its pvp for which CH is not design then you will be at a hugh disadvantage. BUT for PvE CH is one of if not the best profession imo, i can quite comfortably solo enraged rancors on dath, which most ppl there seem to need teams of 4 or 5 minimum to do otherwise, just wish i could get the 36k missions solo

and ppl seem to always stick to one pet.. you should use which ever pet suits the situation and the surounding enviroment Cats suit Dath due to the hilly terrain, grauls/rancors work well on endor and i like using my kimo on dantooine due to the flatter terrain of course these are just my preferences I don't always stick to these i do sometimes use my kimo on dath (and usually end up cursing lol as it keeps getting stuck), but Cats prettty much work everywhere and i like e'm to

Hi all,

I started SWG around 2 weeks ago again, after I randomly played it right after it came out.

This is the time for me, where the real fun, being a CH really begins. Now being able to handle and tame some nice pets as well as some decent weaponry to defend myself while being out in the wilds.

In the beginning I was so anxious to get up those skill trees, being able to get a better weapon,..getting control of higher level pets,…but then I thought,..hey,..this is not what makes you play this game,..this is not what makes you enjoy the whole experience.

What brings the fun for me in this game and the CH profession is having my two greater sludge panthers running with me through the wild plains of Talus, Tattooine etc...exploring the country and forests.

No building or other players around for miles.

Just us three in the wild nature looking for new exciting animals, secrets and camping in the wilds,..

The fun lies in being able not only to see all types of these great looking SWG animals running around in hidden spots or open in the wild, but actually getting in contact with them,..taming them,..seing the babys parents reacting to you when you stand there.

Sometimes I just set up camp close to some interesting animal family so I can watch them,..study them,..simply enjoying it.

That’s where the fun for me is

Both my panthers, Kea and Keo are not full grown yet,..one I just got yesterday.

Tamed both on Talus, took screenshots of them and their parents while taming them because I know I will have them around for a while even if currently could call higher level pets and these panthers don’t get higher than lvl 25.

They might by far not be the strongest pets in the game but I love having them around and they more and more become true friends.

Why I wrote all this? Maybe just to show others and me what I love about being a CH, for there are so many posts on here that complain about nerfing of the CH prof, about nerfing pets,..etc.

People complaining, that if another thing is nerfed they stop being CH…etc etc.

People trying to just grinding through the profession so they become Master CH in no time.

Its ok with me, I just think you miss most of the fun this prof offers.

I don’t care about any of the nerfing of pets,..let other professions be stronger,..let em kill me in PvP…no biggy

I respect people though who play this game like a competition,..for winning battles,..for helping the rebels or Imperials to win,..or maybe stay neutral. Everyone can do what they like right?

I don’t play this game for winning something though, I play it to have a great experience and that’s what I get from being a CH.

See ya in the wilds,

Canego
