Why don't Rangers get Tracking? I'm well aware that BH's get it, but thats for npc's. Rangers hsould be able to track creatures (i.e. a Master Ranger should be able to lead directly to a Krayt if it is within X distance). Just a thought. I think this game lacks in useful non-combat ablities (crafting excluded) and this would really help put Rangers on the map. I've been playing since day 1 on the Radiant server and can not recall seeing a single one Ranger.

Also, while I'm at it, Traps should be aLOT more useful than they currently are. Seems to me, this is the Rangers best tool in a hunting group and it should be worth something.

Just my 2 cents.

You could of course become a Ranger as we can track creatures, albeit not over a great distance.

Leave area track with the rangers, where it belongs. The whole point to limiting your skill points is to force you to choose what you want to be in this game. If tracking is important enough for you, you'll take the ranger skills (as I have done...I'd love to be able to do a bit of healing on myself, but area tracking is much more important to me at this point, so I refuse to give it up).

Tracking creatures and humanoids is a ranger abiltiy, not a CH skill. And that's where it should stay.

I think this might be a fun addition to the CH tree, maybe even find some way to implement your pets in it. Say certain pets have tracking bonuses, you send your pet to make a run around the area anditcan come back and give you a listing of the creatures around. Higher level pets have better trackings bonuses and are able find more lairs, this means as you advance through the CH tree you're able to tame these higher level tracking pets which would give people another reason to advance higher in CH. I agree though we shouldn't take anything away from Rangers, so maybe make it a much more basic tracking, maybe your pet can only find lairs and not the creatures around it...

Ive read this somewere before but think this is a good idea as a skill tree for CH , Creature Tracking : because what do we do the most , but look for creature and are probably the best at finding them on the bases of this i think we should have a form of the ranger tracking skill so we can track rare creatures on the bases of our tracking skill we either find them are we are fail in tracking them.

I think this would add more enjoyment to tracking creatures instead of just drivin around on your speeder all day , what do you think about i would like to know .

While we are adding tracking skills to the CH profession. I was thinking, wouldn't it be great to have like Rangers that could tame there own mounts. Then maybe even mount there own pets? Yeah that could work. Then Why not add like a whole weapon line to the Ranger skills to. And some medical.. Heck who needs a weaponsmith when a Ranger can also craft his/her own powerfull weapons. I can see it now.
