Thread: so, great plains stalkers are(were) corellian sand panthers?

began to notice this about 10 minutes ago.
was busy doin random stuff in theed, and i noticed a long line of droids/animals patrolling about, no doubt comically placed by different players. i figured what the hell, and had my plains stalker baby follow along at the end of the line.
however, i began to notice something odd. every time the animal would disappear from radar, and reappear, it would briefly flash "Corellian sand panther", before changing back to "a great plains stalker (baby)".

perhaps this means that the lack of corellian sand panthers on corellia(dur) is attributed to them being renamed?

I suppose that is possible, but I have always assumed that sand panthers had been renamed to razor cats, because razor cats are (at least were before the big CL patch) the same level as sand panthers were listed as in the guide and secondly because there was a listing for a Crimson Sand Panther and we actually have a Crimson Razor Cat.
