(Something goofy going through my head last night as I was hunting a Wasteland Cu Pa. Kept getting pictures of the Crocodile hunter in my head. Unfortunatly, I didn't get a baby. Maybe tonight I will. Hope you guys enjoy it.)
Opening Segment: You see Khales riding around in various places on his landspeeder. Then you see him wrestling a Greater Sludge Pantherto the ground bare handed on Talus. You then see Khales stalking a voirtor lizard on Dantooine. Then you see Khales with a hunting party cornering a Krayt Dragon on Tatooine. The last thing you see is the Krayt spining around and looking as if taking a bite out of the camera, and all goes black. Then you hear a voice....
"Crickey, was that a close 'un!"
As the shot fades in, you see Khales packing his gear on the back of his land speeder just inside the walls of Mos Ethna on Tatooine.
"G'day mates, glad ya could join us on this foin day. We're 'ere on Tatooine, the baren world on the outt'r rim, in hopes ta find the uncommon Wasteland Cu pa."
Khales is now in his land speeder, zooming across the desert, the camera following along side him.
"Now, Cu pas are found every where 'ere on Tat. Usually wanderin' around and gettin there snouts caught up in places they shouldn't be. More of a nuciance than any threat, they usually avoid being caught up in us humanoid. Normally non agressive, don't let 'em fool yas. These buggers can pretty much defend 'emselves where there huuge powerful legs."
You see Khales' land speeder come up to a masive ring of pylons, slowing to a stop and kicking up sand everywhere. Hoping out, he pulls his helmet off and sets it in the speeder. Grabbing his pack, he slings it on his back and starts hiking off.
"Now, according to reports, the Wastelands 'ave been sporting here for a bit. And it's no wonder why. See these large pylons? Literally hundreds of 'em. This huge circle they make are the remains of an old battlefield waged 'ere on tatooine a while back. The energies that spread from pylon to pylon creates a field inside it's perimiter that makes it virtually impossible to make any attack inside, perfect place for an uncommon animal like the Wasteland to make it's 'ome.
"Other animals make there nests out 'ere. You 'ave the rock beetles, and there HUGE, GIGANTIC cousins the sand beetles. These nasty buggers can get to be the size of a small shuttle craft in some regions. Also, the occasional Mountain Dewback will poke 'is head out of a nook or cranny from time to time."
Khales takes a look around on the ground and focuses in on something.
"'ere! Take a gander at this! If I didn't know betta I would think, by jimminy, it is! Whot we got 'ere is part of a Cu pa horn, looks like this bloke was in a bit of a scrape."
Khales looks around and sees something at bit in the distance.
"And I think I see whot it was. Take a gander over 'ere."
Running ahead of the camera, he finally stops infront of a lump in the sand.
"Ay, this is a sight. We got ourselves a boar here. Looks ta be a bladeback. Nasty little critters, would rather agro ya than look at ya. I've seen these buggers yank a man right off there swooops wit there tusks, then just maul them in a pack. Looks like our wasteland was lucky to get away on this one. Hold on, this is what i was mentioning earlier, right here, see that gash on it's side? Pretty nasty ain't it? That's where our little buddy managed to get in a hit with it's massive muscular hind leg. They got about a 10cm claw on each toe, and when they get in a scrap, they kick hard and just rake the guts outta ya. I don't see our mate anywhere around here, best keep lookin'."
Khales walks around, and you see that each shot is later in the day, till finally one of the twin suns have fallen over the horizon. Finally, the shot is jumped to seeing Khales kneeling down next to a fallen golden color Cu pa, one of it's horns broken in half. The animals eyes are glazed over and it's breathing shallow.
"After about an hour of searching, we finally found our quarry. As I guessed earlier, he did get in a bit of a scrap, and unfortunatlly, there won't be a winner. Pretty tough ole critter, able to take that much damage and still walk away, but out 'ere in the wild, anything can 'appen. Unfortunatlly for this li'l guy, he won't get to check another day.Only thing we can do now, is make him comfortable till the enevitable 'appens. A Beautiful creature, hopefully, we'll get anther chance to see more of them out there. Till next time, this is Khales, wishin' ya a G'day."
