Thread: Krayt Hunting with AT-ST's

Just a thought.......
What if you goto an IMP mission terminal get a mission and are now able to call an AT-ST ok so you now leave the mission alone and run off to find a Krayt. Would you be able to pull out your AT-ST?
I always wondered if an AT-ST, 2 BE LVL 35 monsters, and the best combat droid avaliable could take down a Krayt. Just a thought

You can pull out faction pets whenever you want. But, they won't engage anything but opposing faction members and NPCs. Sure you could pull an AT-ST out, but it would just stand there while your BE'd pets were being crushed by the Krayt.

you used to be able to use AT-ST's to help kill regular mobs. this was nerfed because far 2 many people would hit krayts and other high end content with 3 AT's out. made things far 2 easy so the devs quickly nerfed that down.
now just 1 faction pet out, engaging factioned enemies only.

And you can't trade faction pets any more either. That is the annoying part. I can handle the nerf so we can't use them against creatures but to not allow us to trade them is ridiculous. When I rerolled my character, I had to let an AT-ST and 2 Storm Troopers get deleted with my character because I couldn't trade them to anyone to give my new character. Very very annoying. We do the work to earn them, we should be able to trade them if we want. Oh well, what can ya do.

Use constructive criticism to achieve the Devs' attention and come to a plausible solution!
(voice in the back) That's what a lot of people on the CH forums have been doing for a year, and it's never accomplished anything!

Just as an additional info, Joker. Just getting an imp mission won't let you call your AT-ST. You need to be overt to be able to call it.

there is a way to use the AT-ST's still... not gonna say how cuase it is an exploite... but yes an AT-ST and 2 pets can tank a canyon krayt... i'm never been an imp, so i didn't do this but have seen it done... not wise though cause there are many better templates for soloing dragons, you need ot be overt, and its not nice when you are doing just fine and an overt reb or a jedi comes up and kills ya, steals your dragon and kills your AT-ST and pets... or ya get a csr called on ya...
