I was out hunting on Endor last night to increase the bank balanace and decided to take a couple of mantrigue screecher missions. Anyway, this was the 1st time ive tried screechers and on the 2nd lair out popped a baby. The whole thing was a bit of a mess to say the least! The baby and an adult started agroing my pet so I had to run and tell my pet to follow then I get set upon by a Grassland Raider, doh! I managed to get my pet to take the agro from me and finally the baby and its parent finally broke off the chase. So I headed back toward the baby and got another raider on my tail. By this stage is was getting rather annoyed and loosing health quicker than i could heal cos the whole lair and a couple of raiders were hitting me. But still I was attempting to tame this little critter under all this agro. Failure after failure eventually led to me being incapacitated.

I was NOT going to give up. I had to have this baby. When I got up I masked my scent and ran as fast as i could so i could heal myself up. Then all of a sudden a bunch of Arachne drones came running past me and started attacking the screechers so I made use of this cover and headed to the baby that wasnt in the fight. About the 10th attempt later he was mine. Into my pad he went, picked up my valiant webmaster who was rather messed up and I was out of there feeling rather happy :-)

Damn, Im gonna have to get me one of those One question, do I have to be a Wookie to be able to successfully tame one of these beasts? If not, all is well & good, else I guess I could just put on some CH favoring BE clothing to aid me in my quest

Congrats dude!

My first and so far only rare one is Auntie, a gaping spider queen which I just stumbled upon trekking between Science Outpost and Aurillian village. Tamed without aggro. She's big, ugly and has 65% kin resist which is nice!

Too bad stoneskin hadanak has no babies, saw a screenie on it having 90% kin!!! Wonder if it was a fake?

Flygbaronen, you dont have to be a wookie to tame one, im Zabrak. I had on a taiming jacket and it took 10 attempte to bag it. Would not try without one though.

Great, thanks for replying. I'll get right on it, one simply has to grace my datapad with its presence. This one should be able to keep up with my AV-21 quite well aswell, and that's always a relief

Bah! I lost count of the number or lairs I had to try to get a baby!

Congratulations though! It sounds like you had quite an adventure taming it.
