Thread: Bracketed tameables?!?!?!
Hi. yesterday while on mustafar i somehow found a lava flea guard baby (silver brackets) at level 70 i think. and was able to tame it. also i found a lava flea queen baby (gold brackets i think) that also was tameable (but since level 75, couldn't try). Are bracketed babies tameable now? i thought that that wasn't possible?
they convert to regular stats for that level after you tame them.
So it would appear but we cant be too sure about anything at the moment like exactly what a silver bracket means on something that always has a silver bracket. I got the same baby as the poster and the stats do not seem to be definatively different. So I suppose this asks the question what do brackets for any npc do anyway. Sure they seem stronger but maybe the bracket is read as a level differential Which is the system I have used for brackets since they came out.
1. Silver means 1 CL higher 2 silver means 2 higher 1 gold means 2 higher 2 gold means 4 higher. I may be wrong about what the chevrons simbolize but it seems close enough to me.
No matter if the pet is stronger in an unperceived way or not the silver bracket alone looks cool.
elite/boss mobs have higher stats, damage, health, defnse ETC.
i dont know if elites always DB but they might.
the level shown next to their health is still their level wehn calculating damge and what not, they just have the stats of a much higher critter/NPC
i used my bracketed pet yesterday on some (very unlucky) miners on strike on mustafar, and the pet was doing much more damage than other pets, on average it was hitting for 233 hp's every blow, and that was without any pet enhancing skills, like enrage or embolden.
also, on a totally unrelated note, i named him "bouncer" because he's a lava flea "guard". lol. not as good as my blistmok i named frank, or the reward lava flea i named larry. lol. for some reason simple names are mildly humorous for pets. /shrug. ![]()
