i've seen threads on here asking what you name your pets. this is similar, i'm curious on where you get the names from. like tv, movies, another language, et cetera.

GSP: Nihil (which i latin for nothing)

A mountain dewback: Huron (from lotR)

Kliknik: Crim (from .hack//SIGN) going to change it soon

Tortun: Vitare (latin for 'to avoid')

thats it.

Been naming mine from characters from Foundation Series. 2 pets out can have Eto - Demerzel running around. Also works well for droids since there were a robots in the novel. Im just a looser geek so no flames

I dont know how I come up with these names, they just seem to come to me...

I give mine names that pop into my head to suit that type of creature.

Klicknik defender - Soldat(german for soldier)

Rancor- Lucifer

Gnarled rancor -Blackheart

My character Daki, is the name of one of my cats, so I felt obligated to name two pets after the other two cats.For other pets, I've been using names of flowers and types of wine with a random name here and there.

Grand Wrix: Skids (named after my late RL grey tabby)

Greater Sludge Panther: Bagheera (named after the panther in Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book")

Vicious Huf Dun: Rumbles (cause that's what he does)

Ifound a website that's chock full of baby names from other countries, I'm currently working my way through the African names.

I had a pair of tusk cats named Tabu and Tiani, but I let them go.

I named my SWG pets like I named my real pets. Something they did or something that suits them. The cat (a white one) was Natasha because she had a black brother (who was of course, Boris) after the Rocky & Bullwinkle cartoon. The dog eventually became Sasha but she was Afterburner at first because when I took her for walks she'd shoot out the door to the end of the leash like she had one. Usually I just call them Cat or Puppy.

So the first grand wrix was Cat until her true name was discovered (Fang). I have a dewback named Horse in the same vien. I did name a bageraset the given name of a friend who had a character in-game. He had to do a double take when he first saw it (and I gave it to him of course).

Bearded Jax - Faggo

just FYI, gonk is another name forthe E-6 power droid, possibly the coolest droid ever.
