Thread: Not getting CH XP

I have been away from the game for awhile now, and just came back to try it out after the CU. I am a novice CH and have a level 12 pet that I am trying to use to get CH xp. I am lvl 45. This morning I was hunting on Dant and decided to try and get some ch xp. I started killing lvl 43 pickets and I get my normal xp but no CH xp. I made sure that my pet attacked the target and acctually hit it. Any ideas what might be going on here. Any info would help.
