Thread: I'm Joining the Creature Handler Profession :)

Yep.. i have aways wanted to be one since i first started the game way way back but have always gone off in different directions..
so now i've done 17 profs and have now got a new character unlocked.. i'll going to do it..
I have some questions..
1) Is it easy to gain xp in Creature Handler post CU?
2) Whats a good pet and stats to get me started. is it still lvl 10 at the begining?
3) Is it as fun as i think it is?
4) I'm also not going to do a combat prof on this char as in weapons.. he's going Master Combat Med - Master Creature Handler. is that a really bad idea?
5) Anyone on Ahazi got any pets for sale lol... I'll buy master lvl ones and low level as long as you lot tell me there good.
first of all.. i need to go grind scout.... wish me luck lol

Its lvl 12 and the Skin dosent matter. I suggest you make a post on your Galaxy trade fourm to buy one, however the BE pet crafting process is still broken and will not be fixed untill pub 17. So I suggest you just go out and tame one.
Try you galaxy trade fourm for that.
And most importantly READ THE STICKIES!!!!! People have spent a great deal of time compiling information that should answer most if not all of the questions someone who is new to the profession might have so give them a read over and if you still have any questions after that feel free to post them.
Good luck on your long road to master. Your going to need it.

Welcome to Creature Handling! I'm a brand new "fakie" MCH (respec), and I'm having a blast with it. I tamed my first baby rancor last night...it was exhilirating! I was like 9m away from the baby, who was standing right under her level 78 mother, praying my mask scent wouldn't suddenly give out.

If your just now picking up Nove CH you may want to wait until they fix the exp cap or you will be sitting with the rest of us at 20k exp.
