main advantage with grouping, is seeing how much health your pets have at all times.

and also, for example; your a reb, and your in a reb city. your pets are somwhere in the city... stuck, or maybe you used stay command. with grouping, you can see the green arrows, dots on mini map. if they arent grouped you'll mistake the pets dots for a rebel NPC dot.

and lastly, organization always wins

Is it still possible to group with pets? Can non-ch's still group with pets?

Please and thank you.

I was grouped with my two pets last night. The XP for the kills was divided between CH xp and Wep xp depending on which did the damage to the mob. For example if killed something worth 4k and my pet did all the work I got 4k of CH xp. If I helped with my pistol and did half the damage I got 2k of Pistol XP, 200 Combat XP, and 2k of CH xp. I was fighting mobs equal to my characters CL.

I have not grouped with any other people since the CU.

I am sure if a Creature handler trains a non Creature handlers pet the group command it would be possaible. Also while grouped my pets gain faction point for me without me fireing a shot.

Thanks. My pet has been trained with various things including mount, so I just thought it was odd it wouldn't group. Must not have been trained with that.
