Read the "Hate" sticky. You are probably out damaging your pet.

You can get pets to tank again if you can use cover and conceal shot now. First call pet/s get them to stay andmove 20m + away and use cover (if anything is within this distance your cover will break and then conceal shot will not work). It helps if you are on level ground and what should happen is your char will go transparent if cover is successful, then start firing at creatures with conceal shot and send pets in to attack, just make sure you are at an angle that means your pet will not charge straight over you when going in to attack.

As long as you are only using conceal shot your pets should hold aggro and you can remain hidden but still out-damaging pets.

As for any other profs I have no idea, the cam kits everyone can use soon may also help but this will have to be tested.

i respecced from MRifle to MPistoleer (with BH0044) with my Master CH. i let my pet attack for a while to build some agro, then i use the damage reducing low damage state shots from my template (intimidate shot, eyeshot, confusion shot - dont use burstshot its an cone area attack) and torso shot for setting a bleeding dot.
then i start doing the real damage (bodyhot, quickdraw, torso) - when the agro of my pet finally breaks i use stopping shot (root) and underhand shot (knockdown) to keep the mob away. i usualy kill the targets before they come into melee range.

i've been thinking about respecing out of Rileman. it was a GREAT combination with CH before, but i have to change and adapt to the CU with my alt as i have had to do with my main.

Pistols / BH sounds quite good as my main is a MBH and i am quite happy with the specials from the profession.
