Erm is its just for show I would suggest not a puppy...but a bunny...they have really nice tricks....

or since its not to be used as a weapon...then think about a little tweety bird.....I used to have 3 of em flying about my head....was kinda nice and alot of the girls wanted one. you can get one which complements the dress/composite armor she is wearing.

I can't think of anything that actually looks like a puppy. The closest thing would be in the boar wolf family or the roba family. The boar wolf are more like large dogs, though, and the robas are sort of a cross between a pig and a dog (so ugly they're cute). The different types of jaxlook like cats. The squalls are bunny-like (very cute). All of these can be found on Endor.

I'd have to say the little squalls (bunnies) on Rori are the cutest in the game. The leviasqualls are huge bunnies and just as cute, but they are CH only pet. The small squalls are CL8 I believe. One advantage with having a BE make a pet is the different colors they can make the pet, so you can get a lot of variation to match outfits or taste which you cant normally get in the wild. The birds are nice too, like the song rasps on Talus, they are usually non CH level pets, and I have seen entertainers with them as a nice touch.

I would go with the Kusaks of Lok. They are smaller and resemble terriers.

Motts (found on Naboo) look like a cross between a dog and a pig, and are pretty cute. Although they have such a low CL they would be useless in a fight.

The most puppy like ones by far are the Corellian Slice Hounds. If you /pet them and they sit, they will sit there panting with their floppy ears, very cute.

Hurrton pups (they stay small like a puppy)

Dwarf Eopies look a bit dog like cause they are so small

i like the chokus from yavin. they look very nice with their white/black or brown stripes and they are very good pets (male/hunter at CL65 - female at CL64).
