No, once a pet is tamed it cannot be redeeded. The best pet you could possibly get is a BE'd pet. However, if you want a wild pet go to swgcreatures.com.

Greater Sludge Panther is 25th lvl and is a pretty good pet to have, I still use mine and it is way below my level

A bit late reply so you might be higher level by now, butif you do PvE your best (wild) pet at your current level is the Boar Wolf. It is Cl 25, has 50% kinetic protection and is quite common. You can find it on Endor all over the place. It might not win you any 'My pet and I - beauty contests' mind you

My Boar Wolf kept me safe until I reached the level where I could tame a Delirious Merek Avenger (CL 40), easily the best (wild) PvE tank (against kinetic damage) in the game, and a common oneas well. This one isalso found on Endor - you'll find in the mountains by Smuggler Outpost.
