Nice. Really nice. I would seldom use anything above 34-36. That way I can use them together.

I look at it this way...positive critasism will only help me better my prof. I know once i master BE i will be able to make some really great pets. Considering that i barely had anything in BE and only 1 experimentation point when i made that one.

that is pretty cool, ham is too low, no armor makes it useless against any high level mob. The fact that it is a durni skin makes it SLOW.

I do like the pet however. Very cool stats.

I would never buy it though as it would be dead in two hits. I am thinking of mastering bio engineer with my alt so I am quite interested in learning about such things,

A few pointers for ya about what we look for in pets.

1. Armor is an absolute must

2. Intimidate is a huge bonus

3. The strong disease special is 100% USELESS (not yelling at you its just that the pointlessness of this special kinda pisses me off). It ticks for a whopping 3 (no thats not a typo the actual number is really 3) wounds with 0 BFand as high as 5 wounds with maxed out BF. How the bloody #3!! can any devjustify making a special that useless!!!!!!!!!!! On top of all that it dosent even work on command!!!!!!!...............................*rant goes on for about 3 more hours*........................Ok I feel better now.

4. Where was I? Ohh yea while strong poison is nice it also dosent work on command so a special such as stunning strike would be a better alternative.

actually I have a Vir Vur like this already in my datapad. the resists I dont have but those types of resists are onyl useful in PvP which a pet cannot really be a viable part of. the damage is nice and hopefully after the CURB damage dealing pets will be useful again. But that level is off the charts. my rabbit came out 7400 across the board with 40% kinetic and blast, but with alot less damage, but then again it is only 15th level.

Also a note: with their lovely new aggressive pets bullpucky this little rabbit is gonna give you some trouble. Only my Toxic Merek Battlelord is more aggressive. But I must admit watching my little killer bunny (his name is Deathdealer BTW) hop off then start attacking an entire lair of tusk cats is really funny. Funniest part is he likes tangling with rancors. That might explain his 88/100 vitality though.

let me just say this. If I saw this pet on a vendor, I would skip over it like there was no tomorrow. Here's why:

1) As said before, there's no armor. I am not a BE, so I am not sure how you would get armor on there. Armor is the first thing I look for when it comes to a BE pet

2) HAM levels seem ok, but are a bit weird. It's ok to have low Mind. Chs can fix mind loss in a heartbeat, so don't focus so much on that. Don't get me wrong, mind is a good thing to have, but my pets rarely get hit in mind. My pet stim Cs can handle it if they do run low though.

3) Resists are good, but without armor, not as good.

4) Specials are useless too since most of the time my poisons/diseases on my other BE pets don't stick.

as much as I was initially excited by mdh dna as a new be, I've found that neither poison nor disease is really very useful.. as for armor being a must..horsepuckey, I sell as manypets withoutas with, and stock a good amount of both..

a couple friendly tips (wish I'd gotten them starting out lol)

most ch that I speak with generally use their pets more against creatures than npc, so decent resists to everything are only driving your cl up. 60% kinetic is achievable at your lvl if you're getting mdh dna.. try some merek harvester for the first two slots, mix and match any flavor you like for the remaining three to choose specials/damage etc. a few that I commonly use that don't get alot of mention in the be forums for mid lvl pets are slinking voritor hunter and vexed voritor lizard, vexed has some really really nice ham, good damage, and vuln to energy which will drop a few lvls off your finished product. slinkers have that combo I love of dizzy/cripple

your biggest enemy starting out making pets will definitely be a lack of exp points, try to choose your dna to get the resists (and vulnerabilities, usually very important) first and foremost, and then worry about damage, specials etc.

one last bit of advice, find a person grinding chef, they will prove invaluable to your grind of be.. make additives for them (micro nutrient at first, then move up to broad spectrum as soon as you can) don't sell them to him/her.. GIVE them to said chef.. reason why? you get considerable experience when a chef uses one of your tissues to make an additive regardless of wether they use it in a food or not.. if they add water you benefit a good bit (example, for broad spectrum, you get 160? for crafting them, but when a chef uses one to make an additive you get another whopping 240 exp each.. absolute best way I found to grind be, totally blows practice mode on anything out of the water.

lastly feel free to drop me a pm here on the forums or send me a tell ingame (/t shadowfire.kio'wa)if you have a question or need advice

useless against creatures, intimidation and stun or blind are by far better, especially if you are no brawler who can apply all those states on his own.

If you really want to make good pets as a BE, take a peek at the combat prof's boards, see what their strengths/weaknesses are and design pets to compliment them. A good tank for riflepeeps (like me hehe), an extra hand at damage for the melee types, etc. Better yet, start making friends with some combat types and take custom orders, just beware the ones who don't understand the BE prof.... if you read the BE board enough you will find out what I mean. *shivers*

lol yup, I assume you're talking about the two weekly requests for a lvl 10 furni with 20k ham, heavy armor and lasers mounted on it's head that can vaporize a rancor
