I was on Lok yesterday and took some CL80Canyon Corsairs missions to fix my Nym faction standing.

As i assumed them to use ranged weapons a called my giant crystal snake (CL63 with ranged attack) and told it to attack from some way out (to pull just 1 corsair). i couldnt believe my eyes when i saw how my CL63 snake owned the CL80 corsair. he used only melee with lots of specials (bleeding dot, armour break) but my pet was eating him up very fast. what i realized was that it was attacking nearly 4 times as fast as the corsair. i didnt had to join my pet, as it killed the NPC by itself, withjust a short regeneration phase to fill up health beforei let it attack the next corsair (same result).

has anyoneexperienced similar results of pets against NPCs (perhaps its against melee NPCs only)?

when i send my pets against creatures its at least an even match (usualy the CL-difference means i have to intervene heavily).
