I'm kinda confused still with the whole respec thing. Prior to cu, I was Master Scout, Master Pistoleer, Master CH, and Ranger 0030. When cu hit, I was -14 skill points and dropped all of my Ranger, which left me at +4 with all my other skills in tact. I decided to try out some smuggler, plus I had a bunch of locked containers laying around, so I dropped enough of my CH to pick up the smuggler skills need for slicing containers. When I attempted to respec back to my template of Master Scout, Master Pistoleer and Master CH, I received the message that I didn't have enough elite points and xp for the Master CH block. Now I'm sitting at CH 4444, and can't figure out what happened.

Any insight would be appreciated, as my respec period ends on Thursday.

Bring up the respec menu and remove all of your skills and start from scratch.

Finish up your MCH and then on to Pistols, you cannot respec MCH/ Pistols/ ScoutAND Ranger for some reason (I tried it).

You may be stuck with having to re-grind Ranger (Provided you have enough points to get Ranger again).

I blew it and dumped all my spare points in to Force XP and have to get all the scouting XP all over again for master...

Try a few combos and see what works, the respec thing isn't the master key it is believed to be.

I miss my pets, my slobbering yet faithful protector named Cuddles the Rancor.

The SPCA said they won't sue for killing virtual animals...

When the respec first came out it did not save points not used. That came about a week later.

So if you dropped any ch or ranger skills via this method and did not use them at that time you would have lost them, If you dropped skills viathe regular skills window obviosly those cannot be recovered.

If you respec'd after the first week and are allowed to save points then it is possible to use elite points in standard boxes if you had no free standard points and they may have been used up in this manner.

Solutions =

1. Standard points can be used in place of elite, however its a 2 - 1 ratio,

2. Check your skills and see what professions you have the most xp points banked, for example if you have 500,000 pistol points and 30k scout points, respec your character to all smuggler and something you dont mind playing for a day. but make sure you dont swap elite for standard points. watch them during respec.

If you have any extra points dont worry they will be saved now for next respec because You will need free skills points for the nextpart.Now keep nov pistoleer and nov scout and and save respec, see a trainer and train in all the pistolskills you can, then do scout. On your next respec you should have aquired enough respec points to compensate for what you lost and can choose the master box.

I hope you grasp what I am saying. you are just retraining in lower boxes to add to your respec points for later

also since your respec time may be limited to a day or so. You may want to try this tonight
