My list of creatures

Bull Rancor: Should be among the best tamable creatures of the game. For how difficult they are to get and the importance the rancor has in the swg universe needs to be addressed.

Frenzied Graul: Was in my oppinion the best pet before the CU and now is not even in the top 10 of best pets. Frenzied Graul should be the elite graul and the Graul marauder should have its stats bumped way back up.

Klikniks: They all need to be lowered below cl 70 including the Kliknik queen that though may still be extinct should still be usable by the fortunate few who have them.

Malkoks: No longer tamable or callable.

Gnarled Rancor: Listed as tamable but not callable due to cl being above 70.

Aracne Queen: for a cl 65 should have higher dmg stats.

Those are the creatures am listing for now and will be updating this as creatures continue to change.

I know this will probably bring me a lot of hate but really, Female Narglatch should be on the list. Unless there issome huge resistance factor we can't see, anyone can see these were likely a mistake.

Ah but we can see it, 9K HAM goes a long, long way in this new system as opposed to 6K.

heh one of the biggest issues (and a reason i am considering respeccing to something other then CH) ... is the max level of pets vs the max level of npc's/mobs ... a cl 70 against a cl 84 is not a pretty fight ... even worse if i try to pull out three lowers to see if i can just outdamage em ...

Not that i expect it to happen but any chance on one of these balance passes actually leveling creatures realistically. I see small critters on alot of planets (Size of minor gubbers) level 50+ and then you see lower levels on something 10 times its size.

Sure some tiny critters should pack a punch but the levels attached to the skins is all out of wack.

SHADOWFIRE - MASTER CREATURE HANDLER / MASTER RIFLEMAN

TEMPEST MTK/MD - WANDERHOME MT/MM -???-???

Agreed!! It doesn't appear that there was much consideration put into the "hierarchy" of creatures.I'm not sure why aGnarled Rancorhas a higher CL than a BullRancor.By using the descript of "Bull", one wouldthink that this refers to the "Alpha" or Dominant type...why would the dominate type have a lower CL than a type that is not dominant. The hierarchy of rancors provided by Enigma in his Bull Rancor field guide is probably a more accurate depiction of the way it should be rather than the current state things.

I have been seeing bolle bols on Naboo (Shadowfire) showing CL410, with 19k+ Health. I tamed one of the babies and the stats look normal, but the wild spawns are looking weird on the health.

Oh I didn't even see this post. Exactly what I posted about half hour ago.

Greater Sludge Panthers 3333 health, cl 23, dmg like 275, to hit 2 something. For such pathetic dmg to hit stats health needs to be increased. say to 5000k. I'd say more like 6000 mainly 'cuz they are huge animals, they shouldn't have such a small health. And they already are out damaged by narglatch(sp) which have more health too. So GSP should have same health as them and just the less damage. I mean should health be semi related to size?? Don't see 1000 health rancors.

Also Grand Wrix are pathetic. 3087 health, 257 dmg, though .35 to hit (if SWGC is right, haven't had time to go find one in wild). I'd recommend higher damage, unless the .35 hit is really incrasing the dps by a lot. I still don't get the to hit. Is that just like for weapons the speed?

We have an entire world full of examples regarding right and wrong stats for animals (not to mention a lil logic)

There is a virtual animal combat show on Discovery that actually tries to do testing.

I know this is a game and I knowI am not the development team nor the game designer...

The Bull Rancor is at the top of the animal food chain on ANY planet of the SWG universe, I think there is no dispute.

Now lets put our virtual buddies to the test lets say the +100 CL Ronto and the Bull rancor.

*In a whispering Crocodile hunter tone* CRIKEY!! the Ronto is serious about charging that big ol Bull Rancor!! Thunder-Rumble - SLASH!! *Whinny/ Squeal* Chomp Chomp.... various eating noises.

Hehehe Looks like that big ol Bull has a meal for a week, thanks for tuning in with our special edition Dathomir Hunter!

You get the picture... The Rancor is a killing/ eating/ reproducing machine, half spider half crab with no typical animal instincts I wager (see...killl...eat)...

The big cats and dogs of the planets are right up there too, would you want to go against a pack of 20 Huurton??

Now lets talk about a few of the other extreme examples:

Baz nitch.... hmmm a mutant chicken?? AND able to decimate a pack of Sludge panthers.... RIIIIGHT!

Reptilian flyers... Ok they are fairly nasty/ scary looking and travel in packs but to put them on the same CL or higher than a rancor nope, I don't buy it.

Without going too far off the deep end, I just think that a little logic here could go a long way.

*5 developers sit in a dimly lit smoke filled room with their old D&D dice...*

"Ok next on the list is the femaleNarglatch; man what a dumb name. What did you guys get??"

"Ohh great someone used a mechanical pencil to remove the color crayon wax from my 20 sided die #$%^#$%^!!"

"Is that right, you rolled a 7??" "Yup give them 7k health, "No Wayy!! a 7??" "They are going to laugh about this one"...

Now if they just obeyed commands...

I miss my pets, my slobbering yet faithful protector named Cuddles the Rancor.

The SPCA said they won't sue for killing virtual animals...

You know, if the devs actually listened to some of the CH here that love this profession and had them give a list of animals to change to what.. That'd be perfect.

And is 70 for max pet lvl really the best number?

This is precisely what's wrong with the CU. It's clear the players know how to build a world based in the Star Wars mythos while the devs either don't have a clue or just don't care. Given all the player suggestions, proposals, ideas, and such that are put forth on a daily basis- all for the betterment of the game- but that are totally ignored and overlooked by the devs, I have a feeling the latter is the case. Namely, they just don't care.
