Thread: i dont understand mounts

ok i finally got to train mounts, but i dont understand how to.

i have a lvl11 bol and there is now option that i can tell that says train mount or anything like that. That i can see atm. PLEASE shed some light i have read and read and read the faq and all its say what you can train but not actually how to. Its driving me crazy lol.

if the pet is mountable just click train as mount from the radial menu and the saddle will magically appear. The pet will need to be 3/4 grown except for the giant carron spat which can be mounted as soon as tamed.

thanks thats what i thought. I read a bol is trainable as a mount but the option is not there yet. Its lvl 11 hmm i guess ill go hunt dewbacks since i know for a fact they are trainable as mounts.

You've got to wait for the critter to get big enough for the saddle.


The option will show up at that time.

its wierd lastnight my lvl11 bol was finally trainable. Just for note it wasnt 1(11) it was just 11. Now i got a grizzle dewback,feal bantha, and 2 regular dewbacks. I almost had a dune bantha but my stupid pets attack it.

You have to be a Master Creature Handler before you get the ability to train a mount. Once you reach MCH, you get 'Mount' as an option on the "Train" menu.

Most creatures (Giant Carrion Spat being the only exception I know of though there are probably more) must be nearly fully grown before they can be trained as a mount. Generally once a creature is deemed large enough to ride, it can be trained.

No, you must have Creature Management IV to train a mount. That's the box where the ability to train a mount is granted.

there are different types of bols, i have a lvl 7 bol (something with runner in its name) and its mountable : /
