I used to be MCH and MRifles way back when...that was my first complete template. I am thinking about that template again, as I really enjoyed it (even though I never could figure out how to solo an Elder with it!)

So, who can sum up what is going on with MCH? And knowing me, I guess I would want to be able to solo an Elder, lol...

Anyway, how is CH? You guys enjoying it?

Any cool new pets out there (besides quest rewards)?

Are pets GREAT tanks now?

1. We're nerfed, nerfed, nerfed, and just when we find a way around the system and get a decent bit of power, NERFED! There were a few bug fixes, most made worthless with the CU, we lost a bunch of good people who got perma-banned on the forums for speaking out, we gained a whole bunch of good people in the course of time, Vert finally had to retire and now Ko is the correspondent, Joker's had to be on an endless rampage of telling people Clicky to my Sticky!!!, and some of the main issues to CH now include:

Pets are un-imaginative meat bags in terms of stats

Pet tracking is horrible, if you want to make a pet switch target mid fight, it will freeze in place and never respond, and sometimes they'll freeze on their own

Converted pets are almost compleatly worthless with the latest nerf to converting BE pets,

All Pets move slower than a person running, regardless of whether it makes any sense or not

the CL limit of 70 makes us little of a threat to CL 80 players and creatures, especially with the latest nerf to converted BE pets

And many, many more problems!

2. No elder soloing. Their like CL 120, im sorry, but it's not happening.

3.Its still awesome for RPing, the autostore thing seems finally fixed so no more storing when your trying to have fun, and even with pet speeds being nerfed into oblivion its still fun to control pets. It looks cool in combat, but compared to other proffesions, looking cool is about it's only strong point. Not that that's a bad strong point at all, it's just not a very balanced one.

4. Almost every pet in the game is now tamable with the CU, and most creatures have the same spawn rate. This has gotten mixed reactions, some negative since it made people who worked 6 months to find a baby now find out that they could of waited and had it done in a day, and some positive since, well, now you can tame most everything. About the only limitation are things above CL 70, (Many rare pets got nerfed over our calling limit, such as klikniks)and most elite spawns which don't have nests, since they appear bugged and don't spawn second or 3rd rounds. Further, with pets being un-imaginative meat sacks with stats based purely on CL, about the best wild pet would be some CL 70 critter, I dunno what one would be since im sure SWGcreatures.com is still updating, but at any rate, if you tame a CL 70ish pet, chances are it will have the best stats. Except for Female Narglatches, which oddly have almost 8K HAM, and are only CL 22. a team of those seems to be the best overall for a good group of wild pets, but the new BE crafting system looks promising in terms of power.

5. 2 words: Hate system. Pets will never be tanks at all until they fix the new hate system, because now the the system literally will not let your pet tank for you if your doing more damage. You could be on top of a mountain 64 meters away, and whatever your fighting would still come for you rather than fighting your pet, unless you let your pet whack at the enemy for 10 seconds to build up hate. Against high level critters, it might nearly be dead by that time. And sometimes the system of course doesn't work as intended and creatures head for you anyway, it's all part of a broken system. Most of the time it will work, but all the same, make sure you've cloned.

Anyway, if you've got nothing else you'd rather be doing right now, you could always come back and wait with the rest of us to be properly fixed and balanced :/. Some of the latest patches are touching CH issues, many of them nerfs, but some are slight improvements, which at least proves the developers remember that we're a proffession. If you want to come wait with the rest of us to be properly balanced, you might not regret it :/. In the meantime, CH is still fun to RP around with....
